Massad's Mediterranean Grill

Massads is one of the few places in Mankato where you can get food with true ethnic Flair and incredible pricing now they have a lunch buffet that is amazing and you can try everything. Love all the food here.

Amazing Shawerma Pizza... You got to try it. So happy to find this place in my visit to Mankato.

Love at first bite! I enjoy everything that is made by the Massad's, but this place is my new favorite. The variety and cafeteria serving style is great! Finally a place that you can get a quick lunch that is made with real ingredients by real people that care about their food and service quality. Everything on the menu is amazing! If you haven't visited this location, it's a must!

The food is very good. It is a great place for vegetarians with their amazing falafel and other options. You can see the cooking process and see that everything is fresh. The prices are very reasonable. The place can be hard to notice from the road but is worth a visit. Also the interior is very clean and has a modern look to it.

This place is a must-visit on every trip to Mankato. Awesome staff and phenomenal food. It's Mediterranean, but approachable even for life long Midwesterners. The chicken schwarma is one of my top five favorite foods of all time. Plus, the portions are large and this daily deal is always a shockingly good value.

I think that this places dosent get the recognition it deserves! In a big gym but, and I love eating here because it tastes so mutch cleaner than other fast food! If you like zesty sort of pickle taste, the Shawarma is a absolute must!

Insanely high quality. This place is always so clean and neat. The food is amazing. You gotta go to their lunch buffet everyday from 11a.m.-1p.m. for unlimited salads and sandwiches. Also they kefta kebab is a must try. Can't recommend this place enough.

I have been missing really good shawarma since my friends Iraqi parents closed up shop in our home town. My wife and I happened to be in town for a funeral and were starving. We saw all thegood reviews of Massads and decided we would try it for ourselves. We where not disappointed. Right away the staff was super friendly and helpful in describing the menu items and offering up suggestions of their favorites.

Decided on the chicken shawarma and lamb burrito. Both where excellent. Juicy and full of flavors. For the sides we got the caprese and Mediterranean salad. The caprese was simple yet amazing. The salad had just thr right amount of green olive funk to go with the amazing feta cheese.

This place is a must have, and we will be eating here again at least once before returning home to Idaho.

The bad news is this location is closing soon.

The good news is that Massad's has a much bigger footprint in Mankato. This location had a much bigger selection being a full restaurant compared to its River Hill Mall's counterpart. I'll just have to get my fix at the Olives location until it's decided what will happen with this location.

Always quite good. The food is fresh and flavorful. The bads: nearly everything is too salty, in particular the flafel, soups, and some salads (taboulee). I also don't care for the pizza. So maybe they should get a 4, but heh, this is Mankato and I am grateful to have this option in town. Some of my favorites are the steak sandwich, lamb burrito, and rotisserie chicken (you can get a half chicken with potatos for $5 on Fridays).

The shawarma here is delicious and the folks helping are very friendly and happy to answer any questions. My former roommate used to dip anything and everything in the shawarma sauce which you can buy to take home for those after bar munch sessions.

The staff are friendly, easy going and very helpful. They have one of the best lamb raps I've ever had. Be sure to try it.

Good food, good service, very clean bathroom with nice soft thick TP, recommend lunch buffet, and the spicy chicken is much better than the shawarma, (which is also good) contrary to most reviews. We will be back.

Thee schwarma is soooooo good!! This family has talent and a strong work ethic. They could be successful anywhere in the world, I can't thank you enough for choosing southern Minnesota!!!

The food here is great! It is nice to have healthy affordable options as sides, as well. My favorite meal from here is their Lamb Burrito and with a side of Tabouli.

First time eating here and it was amazing. Had the Spicy Chicken w/ the French potatoes and it was some of the best food I've had in a long time. Best food I've had in Mankato to date.

Had a lamb burrito and a cranberry quinoa and cous cous salad. Both were delicious and very flavorful. My only suggestion would be more lamb. You can't have enough lamb!
