Detroit Blues Cafe

I went Sunday 4/14/24 which was my first time going there in like 6-7 years. It was a really nice vibe as I experienced in the past. I didn't eat anything but the people I was with did and their food looked and smelled amazing. They all said the fried chicken wings were delicious.

Had my Sister’s 57th Birthday Celebration here-We had a greaT time. My Sister really enjoyed herself. The entire energy & atmosphere were both the besT. Thank you *Blues Cafe*

It was a birthday party. Nice mature crowd. Delicious food, especially the greens,fried chicken, and catfish. We had a ball. They are so accommodating it is impossible to have anything except a good time.

Had a Blast visiting from Chicago, The food, The DJ, The staff, The crowd were all top notch. Plenty of parking in the mall lot, security patrols the surrounding area keeping everyone safe and comfortable, highly recommend

First time here. Loved the atmosphere. I didn't order any food so no ratings on that. It's larger than it looks from the outside due to the basement area. Great dance floor downstairs, didn't vsit upstairs.

Detroit Blues Cafe is not just a bar- it's an experience! The best lounge in Detroit. Grown folk Thursday's is my night, have to get there early if you want a seat.
To walk into a bar and get instantly greeted with a smile and a cocktail that breathes sophistication is a moment that should be savored.
I highly recommend this business. The vibe, the atmosphere, the amazing music, excellent food, the ballroom dancing, and the well-dressed men are some of the highlights. The service is at an exceptional level of professionalism from the wait staff, and cooks, to the security team, consistently. The manager, Amber, is my no-nonsense girl, I just love her!
The ambience here is always inviting and comfortable. It's always a treat!

Most recent visit was for the Lions NFC Championship game.
We lost but a great time was had all around.
Great drinks, great food and some fine women!

Having a Birthday ? Blues Cafe is the right place. The manager helped me plan my grandmother’s birthday and exceeded my expectation. Manager is very professional and made her birthday wonderful for all family and friends. Food was good and drinks perfect.

The soul food is great and priced right. Avoid the "wings for $8" as they are clearly an off-brand from an aldi/Gordon's freezer. Personally, I go for the music and to watch the old people dance.

At 66 I don't go out much but my nephew was celebrating his birthday and picked Detroit Blues Cafe. The place was great, security in and out, nice music, mature crowd and great staff. Kudos for creating this Detroit gem. 3rd.

Jaylyn is the best bartender, the music, the wait staff, the chefs, the food was delicious. I had a great time celebrating my girl.

The food and service was great! The staff was very friendly and so are the people. Dancing, dancing, dancing! Dance lessons and secured parking.

Music has some great selections. The food is okay. The chicken and fish always taste delicious!

Beautifully designed seating to accommodate guests. Music was great. Lighting is dim and pictures don't come out well. I love this place and will return.

Went on a Saturday for a birthday party. Great atmosphere, drink pricing was on par as most clubs. Nice size dance floor.

This place is the business... i love the atmosphere i love the staff. Its all good vibes in there this is the one place i can say its drama free.. the food is A1
