It's definitely one of the more upscale restaurants in Park City. You should get a reservation. The decor inside is very beautiful and adds to the romantic atmosphere. Service is pretty good as it should be for the higher price point. The duck was cooked perfectly, and the cocktails were well crafted. The cornbread is great and a nice surprise. For sure, the swanky place you're looking for for a nice dinner.

I love that they alerted me that we could come in early for my reservation! The food was fantastic. We had the short ribs and the salmon and a couple cocktails...but I don't recall which ones.🙄 The vibe with all the lovely scenes painted in the walls was unique. Lovely service.

I don't remember much about my visit, but the service and food were both pretty good. Ordered a bunch of small plates to share, I think my very favorite was the roasted carrots! I think we also ended up ordering the pickles, but since it came with the charcuterie board, the server didn't charge us, so that was pretty cool!

I am obsessed with purple sage! This was the best dining experience I had in all Park City! The biscuits they bring out to start are incredible and such a perfect touch on a cold snowy evening. The butternut squash ravioli was perfection.

Imagine your Southern Grandma started wearing broad rimmed hats, skinny jeans and brown leather Chelsea boots. This is the restaurant she would open.

We had the charcuterie board and warm housemade potato chips to start along with the complimentary crusty baguette basket with corn jalapeno mini muffins.

My favorite of the entrees we ordered was the Butternut Squash Ravioli. The ravioli (raviolis? raviolii?) were slightly crispy on the edges so I'm guessing they dunked them in the fry oil for a sec, creamy filling with hints of nutmeg resting on a bed of sauteed Granny Smith apples and topped with parmesan and fried sage leaves. This was a medium sized portion, but the other entrees were huge. The Chicken Fried Chicken with country chorizo gravy is a must along with the Braised Short Ribs nestled in a smooth and creamy cauliflower puree. We got a side of Mac and Cheese for the kids in case they didn't like the other entrees, but they loved them all, especially the Chicken Fried Chicken. You'd think the chorizo gravy would be spicy but instead it was just packed with delicious flavor.

You can't go wrong here. It's also pretty incredible price wise. I've had way more expensive dinners that weren't this good. I'd say make a reservation if you want to make sure you'll get a table, but they do take walk-ins if they're not too busy. Friendly accomodating staff.

I love this restaurant.... the food is excellent and decently priced for Main Street Park City. But there is so much more to the dining experience..
The restaurant has such a great ambiance. The decor is exquisite in a down to earth old town vibe. It's not a big place, but the way the tables are positioned keep the noise down. Cozy and fun. Checkout the bar! It's a must!

Nice chic western decor, good service from front door to table, great mix of a smaller menu. The chicken tamales had great flavor, the duck was amazing and the meatloaf was satisfying but a unique twist on meatloaf. Would definitely return here!

The music and ambiance here were fantastic. Service was perfect! Present without being annoying. Everyone in the restaurant was friendly.

The food was FANTASTIC! Innovative, hearty, and so delicious! I was very impressed that they had a great variety of non-alcoholic and decaf beverages.

I would recommend reservations well ahead of time but we loved it!

Excellent. Some of the best food in Utah. Purple Sage serves excellent food with a laid back ambience.

Food: Five stars. The food was perfect.
Service: Three stars. Some of the serves looked like they were falling apart. This may be a result of the corona-economy.
Ambience: Four stars. I loved the booth we were sitting in, although it was a bit close to the door. Velvet backs with long sheet-curtains. Beautiful booth. The rest of the ambience was kind of weird. Tiled ceiling painted with clouds? Why? Generally the vibe was one of "we serve awesome food but we're trying to be too cool to care about being fancy". I for one am not rich enough to pay $35/entree and not want it to be fancy. But I'm sure it works for some people.

We ordered.
Charcuterie board: local meats and cheeses. Loved pairing the bison sausage on bread with mustard and the sharp cheddar. Delightful. Duck pâté nestled next to goat cheese.

Bread: we were served bread before hand. It was great. Snuggled in with the bread were tasty little cornbread muffins. I love cornbread. I wish my cornbread were like this.

Meatloaf: Normally, I wouldn't think of meatloaf as being fancy. This was fancy. Meatloaf smothered in a poblano sauce with the perfect amount of tang. Carrots braised in honey were tender yet firm. Mashed potato heaven.

Utah Trout: Trout is not second-rate fish. Perfectly seared; served with a butter-lime-serrano sauce. I didn't know you could do mashed potatoes with fish. You can. Potatoes were just the right amount of smooth and creamy and potatoe-y. The green beans I thought were a little too undone, but better than over done. Apparently the "Utah" Trout is actually farmed trout from Idaho? Whatever, that's about what I expected, although if it is actually Idaho Trout, it should say so.

Bread pudding: Everything a bread pudding should be. The cranberries stole the show. Topped with cinnamon ice cream and a not-too-much rum sauce. I hate it when the rum sauce is too much; this was not.

I would go back. And I would recommend this spot to anyone.

I always love this place. I’ve gotten multiple items on the menu and they are great. I especially love the braised short ribs. The cocktails are also great.

Staff was amazing and the restaurant is cozy and welcoming! Salmon was great, mahi mahi was even better, and the chicken fried chicken was surprisingly impressive. We went with some friends and shared all of our plates; you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Try the bread pudding, it’s worth it!

Went here last October for my one year anniversary and constantly recommend it to others down in the Valley. Ambience was wonderful, food was incredible, and I cannot wait to dine here again.

Purple Sage is class. Special occasions, date night, birthdays. The food is incredible, every bite of every dish to die for- even their appetizer corn bread! Our waitress was fantastic and our waters were always topped off. The only trouble we ran into was while making reservations online, and since they don’t open until 5:30, you can’t call during the day to make a reservation. So keep that in mind!

First time back since the pandemic and it didn't disappoint. The green chile pork for an appetizer is a must. Usually have the duck which is amazing, however this time had the shrimp on polenta. The flavors were great, just needed a little less leeks and thinner, more crispy polenta cakes.

Highly recommend this restaurant.

The Chicken Tomale Pancake is a must order. The buffalo ribs had a very nice flavor and texture. And, the duck confit was cooked to perfection.

Best restaurant in downtown Park City, in my opinion. Lovely interior, food, wines, great servers, and no OpenTable -- ya gotta call to make reservations. Save this place for locals and their guests!!

It's been here forever so you know it's got great food. Great comfort food after a day on the slopes. Pro tip: try the meatloaf or the duck. Great wine list and be sure to try the "interesting reds" section.
