A great spot for embarking on a walk, hike, bike ride, or paddle! We like kayaking upstream from here , but we’ve also put in below the dam and enjoyed a fun paddle several miles downstream. The dam itself is a pretty notable landmark. However, maybe they will decommission it someday to give wildlife and nature more of a chance!!

This is an excellent place to fish with young kids. My 7 year old and 3 year old had a great time here and are always asking to go back. There is ample parking and nice paved trails for walking either toward Parker Mill County Park or Gallup Park once the kiddos, inevitably, loose interest in the fish...

Great place to fish or drop kayaks, and a long bike trail that connects to other parks.
