This is basically across the street from me and it’s such a wonderful park! Lots of wildlife and fun trails, not to mention the river is beautiful and tranquil. Hidden gem for sure!

Peaceful scenic winter walk. Loved the beautiful creek flowing in contrast to the snow. I was able to hike comfortably in snow..except a few places where it was slippery. If you go early morning, you can find a deer, birds and other wildlife! It was quite fun to guess animals from their footprints in snow! The walk only trail is boarded so quite easy to walk in snow.

A nice easy walk on mixed trails (paved, gravel and boardwalk) following the creek through mature hardwood forest.

What a beautiful park, with a lot of trails to explore, they have short loop trails or longer trails that connect to the neighboring parks.
The trees here seem to be alive, like they are watching you, you will know these trees when you see them! Cant wait to return when the weather is not so groggy. Enjoy 🙂

I generally walk or run starting at this park. It has both paved and dirt trails surrounded by trees. There are enough people to feel safe but never has it been over crowded. One of the paths will lead you to Gallup Park trails and another path will lead you to the botanical gardens trail. There are nice dirt trails within the woods with benches to view the river.

This Park is a lovely gem. The park features historic buildings, boardwalks, overlooks, and groomed trails for hikers and cyclists. The trails take the wanderer along the creek and to a scenic view of a bend in the Huron River. There is an underpass of a rail line for the train lover. Signage is scattered about offering explanations as to the history and science of the area. There are gloriously huge oak trees, babbling waters, and sweet scents to appreciate on your way along the paths. I plan to visit often to appreciate the seasons and respite of this little jewel. If I were a teacher, I would plan a field trip and take advantage of the pavilion for the class to have a memorable learning opportunity.

Great park! The trails are nice, and scenic, plus the cider Mill is open on Sundays. Also in the summer, people will fly fish on the shallow portion of Huron river at the end of the trail. Plus if you walk down the cement path, it leads to the aquaduct sluice.. pretty educational for the kids, and cool to see!

Pleasant day to walk around. I was impressed with the elevated wooded walkway. Enjoyed ready all of the different informative signs along the hike. Well done. Bathroom was clean too.

My favorite trail so far. Very secluded, natural and right by the water. Perfect place to clear your head and journal. I had most of the trail to myself.

Great park to walk. There's a bike/jogging path too. It surrounds an 1800's era cider and grist mill which is also part of the park.
Quite a history to this place and there are signs telling it all along the way.

This park is amazing! It has different types of trails which are all easy to navigate and all have beautiful views. I have taken my kids to many nature trails in the area and this is by far our favorite.

Awesome...close to St. Joe's Hospital so if you have to wait for multiple hrs why not squeeze in a walk and get something put of your day. Not a difficult walk with only slight grades here and there. Puts you right into the lap of nature. Great place to clear your mind and just breathe a little.

No large open spaces, but a pretty walking path by the brook and some historic buildings. Make sure to check out the boardwalk a quarter mile down the main trail on the left!

Beautiful park, stroller friendly trails. There is a water feature that is working for children to play with. Bathrooms near the parking lot. The parking lot is small and gravel. Bathrooms are located near the parking lot. Could use some accessibility improvements near the parking lot but otherwise a beautiful park.
