I was looking for a quick turn around since my 2015 MacBook Pro that needed speaker repair is my work computer. Most shops wanted to hold onto it for prolonged period of time and that is why I initially chose Sunset Systems. I called on Friday and Peter said drop it off on Wednesday. I dropped it off on Wednesday around 2:30pm and received a call to pick it up SAME DAY at 4:30pm, I was in shock. I was very impressed at the speediness and value of the work. If I need any other work I WILL DEFINITELY be back. If you're on the fence about doing some work on your PC, take it to them, you won't be disappointed. It felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders not having to do that job myself. I even felt like Steve Jobs may step out of the back room in a turtle neck and blue jeans with all the 90s-early 2000s computer repair nostalgia in the room.

These guys are a breath of fresh air...I have been dealing with them for years. In the past year, I have bought two computers from them, built in house, cutting edge, latest CPU, lots of memory, etc. The price was less than half of a Dell or other such type. I've had no problems, but, should I have a problem, they are nearby, unlike the machines built in China and sold by Dell, etc. Honest and competent. Peter, who is usually therer, is always patiently helping someone in the store, often at no charge, sending them on their merry way. You won't be disappointed.

I’d highly recommend sunset systems repairs. I brought in a laptop that’s nearly 7 yrs old and they went above and beyond to fix it. After being unable to find a new screen and understanding it was a long shot- they still found a way and brought my laptop back to life. And all at a reasonable price! I have been a client since 2013. Excellent service and knowledge. Though their chain of communication could improve. I get all of my gear and repairs from them and have not been disappointed. I recommend them to all of my friends and colleagues. Prices are great, they do business the right way.

This place is close to my home so It's conveniently located but it's the A1 people who will keep me as a loyal customer. I would happily go elsewhere if that wasn't the case. Peter is absolutely awesome! If you need anything for your computer the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The price is right and the service and professional is outstanding.

They are the nicest and most fair in labor cost out of everyone. Everyone else add labor charges you don't need. Best buy and other repair shop for computer repair was 2 times and even 3 times more expensive because run diagnostic and charges 100 to 200 dollars ridiculous when you didn't want or need it. Sunset gives you what you want and completely honest about your computer.

I brought my desktop computer to Sunset Systems after a storm took out my power and it would no longer boot up. Peter and Julia offered to diagnose the problem for free. When they had narrowed it down to a few possible components, I decided to leave it with them so they could check each individual component for the problem. They discovered it was the CPU that needed to be replaced. Unfortunately I had a rather expensive one in my computer and replacing it would cost at least $350 for a brand new one. Peter was very helpful in explaining the different options I had (downgrading vs. keeping the same one) and all of my price options (new vs. used). They worked within my budget and were very quick in getting the new part shipped and replaced for me. They only charged me $30 for all of their work! I cannot recommend them enough! I came to Sunset computers two weeks ago, and as busy as I am I really wanted to take the time out to write a proper review/thank you to the folks that work there. Two weeks ago my computer screen shattered, and I was desperately looking for a place that could fix it (it's a touch screen so it apparently needed special attention/equipment). I was calling all these local spots just going through google searching repair shops, and most places had a fee just to see the computer- not to fix it, but just to examine the damage. I can appreciate that time is money, and so I don't mind a fee in theory, but in most businesses consultation is generally FREE. Getting a quote should not cost you money in most cases. I ended up calling Sunset Computers, and right from the get-go their employee Alex Fisher asked me a series of questions to understand what the damage was, and he was just so professional and sensitive towards my ordeal (and anyone who has broken their computer or phone feels like it was an ORDEAL lol even though obviously it is not the end of the world). Alex recommended I come in, so he could assess the damage (free of charge), and also gave me practical and genuine advise on the phone. I did not feel they were in the business of taking your money, I felt like they sincerely wanted to help. The store is in Ypsilanti which is a drive for me, but it was worth it. They were just as nice and accommodating in person as they were on the phone- and most importantly they were HONEST. They told me what they could fix, and what they could not- and in any "repair shop" situation that level of transparency is rare, and deserves 5 stars on its own. I was so pleased with their service, and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

I have been going there for many years. With my input, they have built two computers for me. Over the years, they have given me invaluable technical advice, upgraded Windows releases, cloned and added hard drives, and fixed a computer that had conflicting error messages. Their technical people have a lot of knowledge. If they don't have an answer to a problem, they know where they can get information so they can solve it. Maybe not everything but they have in all my dealings with them I would strongly recommend Sunset to anyone. Their prices continue to be very reasonable regardless of the effort needed to complete a task

The owner is really cool. He has the patience talk to you about your computer explain everything is explain the parts when you're asking certain questions about cards his recommendations on what you should and shouldn't use and it's very helpful he'll even look up parts for you to tell you whether or not it'll work or not for your computer system.

Fixed my laptop screen well for a good price

I could not believe the high quality service I received for such a low price. These people go to all lengths to be helpful and supportive. AND they are very patient with customers who don't speak "tech". LOVE THEM!

Alex was very helpful and I did have a Virus and he only Charged $29.00 and told me if I have any other problems come back. I did come back and he did not change me any more money. Alex knows his stuff and Very professional. Thank you for all your help.

I've had these guys build me a couple PCs now and they're always quick, the cables are organized and they charge very fair labor costs. I'll definitely be doing more business with them.
