Amber has been cutting my hair for years, so when I got engaged last year I knew right away that I wanted her to do my wedding hair and makeup! She did HMU for myself, three bridesmaids, and two moms and everyone loved their hair and makeup on wedding day. I don’t wear makeup often so I was nervous that I would look too different or not like myself, but that was not the case at all and I loved how both my hair and makeup turned out! If you’re looking for a more natural look you will love her. We had a huge variety of hair types and styles, from very fine/thin hair to super curly/thick hair, and she was able to style them all beautifully. Not only is Amber an amazingly talented artist, but she is also so kind and just a great person to have with you on your wedding morning. Everyone loved her and we had a blast getting ready. I can’t recommend her enough for weddings and/or for your regular haircuts!

I booked Amber and Lizzie for my wedding hair and makeup and couldn't be happier! Amber did an incredible job on hair for myself, 5 bridesmaids, and two moms. She brought a wonderfully calm energy to a busy morning-of environment, efficiently making sure everyone was taken care of and happy with their style.
And Lizzie did a fabulous job with our makeup! I don't wear much makeup normally, so it was very helpful to do a trial with Lizzie in which she could help me put words to my vision and bring it to life. She even wrote down everything she used for me, which was super helpful for me to know how to recreate my look in the future. Lizzie does beautiful work that helped me feel confident and just like myself on my big day!

Amber did my hair (bride) and my bridesmaid’s hair for my wedding and I couldn’t have asked for someone better. Everyone’s hair was absolutely beautiful. Several of us showed inspiration pictures of the hairstyles we were looking for and Amber made our hair look even better than the pictures. Amber is talented, punctual, and a calming presence. She has also been cutting my hair for years and she does an amazing job. Definitely book her quickly because she fills up fast!

Amber provided on-site hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids. My hair turned out so fantastic - better than what I was envisioning. All of the bridesmaids got different styles and each one was perfection. Amber had a very calming, laid-back energy, but she was also super efficient with her time. She listened well to what everyone wanted and adjusted as needed. I'm also so glad that I did a trial appointment beforehand because we were able to test things out, and also she gave me some great beauty tips that came in handy on the day. I also love that she uses natural makeup and hair products. I would definitely recommend Amber!

Amber and her makeup artist Liz did an incredible job on my bridal party. Amber quickly, professionally, and beautifully completed 8 different hairstyles in about 4 hours. Our looks were natural and lasted all night long. I would not hesitate to book her services again!

I've always had thick and somewhat unruly hair, and It’s been difficult to find a stylist who could shape and tame it to look good, until Amber was recommended to me ten years ago. My hair has never looked better, and I receive many, many compliments on it; I’m happy to tell one and all that I owe it all to Amber. Her cuts are consistently good, and I don’t go home disappointed.
If you’re hair isn’t looking the way you want it to and your stylist doesn’t seem to get it, then I suggest you schedule with Amber. Don't delay, because she books up pretty solid for two or so month out. Your hair will be looking good after Amber becomes your new stylist!

I booked Amber and Lizzie for hair and makeup for my wedding on September 16th. They both did an amazing job! Amber and Lizzie are both so patient and sweet. My hair is naturally very straight and soft, so it's very difficult to hold curls. I really wanted to have my hair down for my wedding and Amber prepped everything with my hair so well. I was super impressed with how the curls held up throughout the day. Amber also knew I was disappointed when my florist forgot to bring small flowers to put in my hair, and she gave us the suggestion to have someone grab a small bouquet from Kroger and use that instead. I would have never thought to do this without her there and I was so happy I was still able to have flowers in my hair to keep my vision for the day. My MOH chose to do an updo from Amber and it was GORGEOUS. Her hair held up the entire night and she even slept on it and it still looked good the next morning. Lizzie was the assistant Amber brought to help with makeup, and she was such a gem for dealing with me. I'm very difficult when it comes to makeup, and Lizzie never once complained when I went back and forth on what I wanted in our trials. I even decided the day of the wedding that I wanted an entirely different makeup look, and Lizzie had no problem with it. She listened to what I wanted and the final look was beautiful and very natural looking. I still looked like myself on my wedding day, and the makeup lasted throughout the night. My mom and bridesmaids all looked beautiful and loved the work they did! Thank you Amber and Lizzie for everything!

Amber styled me and my wedding party and did an amazing job! Everyone was very happy with their hair and makeup, and I loved my natural makeup look. She also did a great job getting everyone ready on time, even with a few people in the wedding party wanting to make a some additions, like adding lashes. In addition to being excellent at her job, she is also incredibly kind, personable, and all-around great to work with! I highly recommend Amber as a hair and make-up stylist!

Amber did the hair for me and my wedding party as well as my makeup and did an amazing job! She came to our venue in the Ann Arbor area and was so professional and fun! My bridesmaids and I all wanted different styles and Amber was able to execute them all flawlessly. She also did my makeup which turned out amazing! I don't normally wear makeup so I was nervous about getting it professionally done, but she used an airbrush and in the end it felt so light and natural, I didn't even know I was wearing makeup and it also looked incredible! I cannot thank her enough for making the morning of my wedding smooth, calm and so fun!

Amber is amazing with hair and makeup. She is sweet and kind and made me feel special as a bride. She wore a braid in her hair on the morning of, just to match the styles that the bridal party was getting, it was a very nice touch. I showed her pictures of the styles I wanted, and she made everything look amazing! Amber uses nice and gentle makeup products, which was great for mine and my sister's sensitive skin. She's very detail oriented and quick to respond to make sure you are pleased as a customer. She was able to accommodate everyone getting their hair and makeup done, with no worry of running over the allotted time. She handled it all herself, and it seemed like she was in three places at once. She made me look like the best and most beautiful version of myself. She is an artist, and I only have good things to say about her!

Amber styled my hair and makeup for my wedding and she did a beautiful job! She is joyful and very talented at what she does! I have sensitive skin and she was able to do my hair and makeup using good-for-you-skin products that are also photo-friendly. Highly recommend Amber! My hair was just what I wanted and all the girls loved theirs as well. Amber was also great to work with, we even had a mix-up on time, so we weren't ready when she got there and she was so patient and nice. I didn't even have a trial with her, as I'm an out-of-town bride, and it still turned out just what I wanted just by showing pictures and describing my vision.

Amber did the make-up for my bridal party (bride, 3 bridesmaids, 2 moms). She arrived early, was professional, and great to work with. The experience we all had was phenomenal from start to finish. Amber genuinely believes in helping you look your best without changing the way you actually look. The makeup is natural looking and feels light on your skin - the finished product has such a "WOW" factor and stayed on all night. Everyone looked great and received many compliments.

Amber did my make up the day of my wedding along with my mom, sister and niece (7 years old) and she was such a pleasure to work with. I have very sensitive skin so I have to use all natural make up and she had all the products I could use. I wanted a very natural look and she delivered!! I felt amazing when I walked down the aisle in front of everyone and the make up lasted all day.

Amber styled me and my entire wedding party for my September wedding. She arrived on time and kept things moving to get us all done before the pictures. Amber was amazing!! She managed to get all our hair (9 of us!) and make up (3) done with perfect timing all on her own. Her talent is incredible - my little nieces had Pinterest ideas w them and she did a great job taking their input haha. The airbrush makeup was perfect as well - I was concerned about not looking natural and even my now husband said she did an awesome job. Her prices are reasonable and since we were in Ann Arbor there were no travel fees, however she has a minimum of $400 (easy for us). Highly recommend her!

Amber does an amazing job with my color. She patiently "hunts" for the grays that escape her foiling efforts and "hand paints" the strays all in an effort to make my color look as natural as possible. When she blows out my naturally wavy hair, I get a smooth and sophisticated style. I highly recommend her for her skills and talent.

Amber does an amazing job and she is my go-to for a maintenance haircut or a new style. She is also very thoughtful in choosing the products she uses on her clients. She always uses the best natural, clean ingredients. Her studio is in a very calming space with lots of natural light, She is the best of the best.
