I requested a custom framing job for my painting that was 3'x4' and needed to be wrapped onto bracing boards in addition to the frame. Everything was exactly as we had discussed, they were so kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure it was a quality product. Very flexible and aware of the finer details. 10/10 recommend.

Great price and phenomenal work for custom framing! At the recommendation of an artist friend I reached out to the owners of Brick & Mortar about framing a large scale 55”x34” art piece. They had great ideas for the frame style when I showed them a photo of my space, listened to my specifications, and found hardware that could handle the weight of the glass (which I thought was impossible)! I would 1000% use them again for framing projects.

They also do custom reclaimed wood framing (this quality is top notch). Sherri and Zachary are always there and will help with any questions. Make sure you ask about local artists and inquire about custom made items. I cannot rave enough about this place!

This place is a must visit if you are visiting the area (Ann Arbor, Ypsi, or the state of Michigan). It is such a fantastic place, with so many interesting things. Every time I walk in I find something new that I want, or something that peeks my curiosity. The framing, pictures, and artwork in the store is also incredible. Its not a huge store, but it doesnt have to be, if it were any larger I would be lost because there are already so many unique items. Plus the owners are fantastic, friendly, and so welcoming!

Love this store they are the only local store the sells Huberd's shoe products. After my amazon package of huberd's went MIA at the USPS. They saved the day by having it. Will return when I need more Huberd's.

Cute little store.

I have tried going to Brick & Mortar General Store on 7 separate occasions all being during their "open" hours and have yet to see them actually open to the public. It is frustrating because their is a particular gift I want to get for someone that they sell there. I have also tried calling during the day and no one was available. Are they closed permanently?
