Mariana's Kitchen

Finally got a chance to try out Mariana’s Kitchen and it was definitely a great visit! Their botana appetizer was cheesy and so delicious. Also got to try their cheese enchiladas and their al pastor platter - both really great options! The salsa from their chips and salsa was also spicy and very tasty. The server was also so wonderful. She was so sweet and so patient! Would love to come again and try their other entrees!

I feel like I just found a hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant. Mariana's Kitchen hosts a tall and spacious room with a welcoming atmosphere, good music and more booths than tables, which I find comforting. The Mexican omelet is fantastic and came with rice and beans and complimentary salsa and fresh tortillas. The flan is divine.

Hands down the salsa it sooooo yummy!! I almost asked for a cup to-go😅 great taste and heat! The flautas plate was also really good. I went in the middle of the day between lunch and dinner so it seemed like it was a 2 person show. The lady up front was really nice and helpful. I wonder if there was someone working behind the bar maybe it would expand the drink selection. I was surprised yet satisfied they had a dark beer for my liking.
Definitely will be back, especially for the salsa!

Excellent authentic South Austin finest "Mexican" food, flavor filled home style cooking only South Austin can offer.
"Tejas" Mexican cuisine but equally a Top award winning heck of a Bacon Cheese burger and skinny fresh french fries. Family owned and worth the wait since now....people have gotten wind and are coming in droves!

The Salsa de la Mañana is one of the best suthentic tasting in town. Wow just like my mom used to make....love it, come join me you will not go wrong. Barbacoa daily and better than most in high quality and flavor.

Excellent food for the Texan in South Austin, (TEJANOS) Soul food. Today I enjoyed grilled Steak Ranchero, with grilled serrano, onions, tomatoes. Best homemade 'refried beans' in Austin. Today Mariana recommended the hash browns as a compliment to my breakfast. Fantastic hash browns with my three over easy eggs accompanied with the ,Salsa de la Mañana (stewed morning hot salsa). Guacamole over a tiny salad. Handmade corn Tortillas. What a great way to enjoy my coffee.

Ordered in (Uber Eats) for my first experience with this restaurant.

Menu choices were abundant, and everything I wanted was present in the menu vis-á-vis various plate offerings, or á la carte.

I took the á la carte path, assembling my own plate.

Delivery was perfect, wherein the kitchen had carefully boxed everything so that it arrived hot.

I look forward to dining in at this establishment !

I came here because it was near my apartment. The food was great! I thought the queso dip was especially tasty, but didn't like the salsa because it was a bit too runny for my liking. I also got the chicken gordita meal & I was surprised by how good the chicken flavor was! I will be back in the future & can recommend to others!

Mom and pop place. Super authentic Mexican. Might be one of the best salsas I’ve had in a long long time.

The Carne Guisada and corn tortillas were just amazing!

This is a must stop a d eat restaurant. My love and I were coming from Corpus Christi. The staff was friendly, a customer was very friendly and talked to us about everything. And the decor is welcoming. Loved our visit.

Went yesterday for the first time. I was not disappointed. Serves was amazing, Food was very delicious. I had the Caldo de Res. I am definitely going back and already recommended to friends and family. Thank you.

this is authentic mexican food! hot , hot sauce not canned tomato sauce. authentic rice. when they get the rice right you know you’ve found authentic!! superior food!!!

I had the chicken enchiladas and will again someday soon. Food and service were exceptional. The ice tea was great too.
If you've never been to Mariana's you should check them out. Salsa was nice and spicy hot... perfect.

Amazing food and workers. The food doesn't take long to come out either. The workers are also very nice. We took a family member here for the first time and she loved it. She said "The next time I come over, let's eat here again".

I went hoping they had tortilla soup but opted for the chicken soup instead and I'm so glad I tried it because it's so dang delicious! I crave this soup. It has the perfect amount of vegetables, the rice is cooked perfectly with great flavor, and the chicken just falls off the bone. Couldn't be better! And I love the staff. Everyone is so nice and attentive.
