This place was amazing! We sought out the establishment after seeing the chef win Iron Chef Showdown and we weren't disappointed. We sat at the chef's table and ordered a tasting for two. It's was a great meal and we enjoyed the cocktails as well. We were lucky enough to meet the executive chef himself. He was very nice.

Celebrated a belated anniversary tonight with the tasting menu at Estrellon. Everything was fantastic! I honestly have nothing bad to say about my experience here. The service was prompt and responsive, the staff were very accomodating of my food allergies, the meal was well-paced, and did I mention everything was fantastic? The only thing I would improve upon is the amount of seafood in the paella valenciana. I would've liked a couple more mussels and clams, but otherwise, it was delicious! I definitely will be coming back!

Very, very delicious food. Pretty pricey, but you get what you pay for. Friendly staff as well. Definitely made me reminisce of when I lived in Spain! I would absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for authentic tapas and sangria, or a high class restaurant to dine at.

Simply wonderful experience from start to end. Probably the best Spanish tapas I've ever had. We were quite impressed with the gluten-free menu, too, though you should know that they don't have a separate fryer for GF foods.

Nice atmosphere, good service and delicious food. Recommend basque cake. We love it so much that we had it for appetizer and again for dessert!

Always a good time at Estrellon. Well executed and creative dishes inspired by Spanish cuisine. Menu changes just often enough to keep it interesting without losing sight of your favorites.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday, knowing how much I love Spanish food. Truly a night to remember. Delicious (and beautiful!) small plates and fantastic service. We’ll be back to try the paella sometime.

Very happy with our first visit! Sazerac was on point, and each dinner course complemented the one prior very well. Staff was warm and accommodating. Definitely will return.

First time at Estrellon. Very satisfied with the experience. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, stunning interior, and excellent cocktails. Had the chefs 8 course tasting menu and 6 were excellent, 1 was ok, and 1 we didn’t care for. Surprised the cost wasn’t higher given the overall quality and experience.

We've been to many of the top tier restaurants in Madison, but this was one of the best dining experience we've had. The food was that kind of meal you can't talk during because there is too much verbal yummy noises going on (mmmmm, ohhhhh, mmmmm). We had the chefs dinner for two with a wine flight. Phenomenal. Service was great, and it was fun to watch from the chefs table.

I can't wait for an excuse to go back. They immediately asked about allergies and aversions (none for us, but great that they are conscientious) and our server asked if we had a timeline (we did not) but they are aware that folks are often visiting prior to a show.

We went before an Overture show. The waitress checked the time of our show with us to make sure we were done on time, I thought that was very considerate. She also was helpful explaining the menu to us without being pushy about ordering more than we wanted. We ordered a smoked salmon starter, the patatas bravas (potatoes), olive rosemary bread, roasted carrots, gambas al ajillo (shrimp), and albondigas (meatballs). This was probably a dish or two too many but everything we ordered was worth trying. The food was delicious, my only complaint being that some of it was a little heavily salted. I would say try sauces in small quantities at first to test if it is too spicy for your palette. Some things are more mild and some are more exciting. Overall, I thought this was a fun experience and would do it again.

Estrellon is one of the nicest restaurants in Madison. The chef's special is SO worth it. The Jamón Ibérico Montaditos is to die for. The basque cake is also a star. Dinner at Estrellon is an experience.

Third visit. Love the menu; a little different but not too different. Nice presentation and wonderful taste. Great staff service always. Parking right there. Great date place!

Great time with the Chefs tasting menu. Definitely worth the price! We were quite full when dessert came out after our mini food adventure. So many great, thoughtfully prepared dishes including paella for an amazing price. $100 for food easily worth $225 in Chicago.

I had one of the best dining experiences I've ever had in Madison at Estrellon. The staff are amazing, the location is great, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is incredible. My friend and I wanted to try the tasting menu for 2 option (tapas-style entrees set in different courses), which was about $90 and worth every penny. Each dish was well balanced and timed perfectly. The last dish (before the dessert) was the house paella. The paella was absolutely phenomenal.

If you enjoy good food experiences and a great atmosphere, check out Estrellon. And go big: do the tasting menu and sample lots of what Estrellon has to offer

Appetizer and dessert were nearly life altering. The paella was okay, but I just am not a big fan of the dish, but it's unavoidable on the tasting menu. On a technical level it was very good. Service was exquisite. Was one of the few people in 30s at the restaurant

Fantastic tapas! Everything we tried was delicious. I had never been brave enough to try anchovies before, but figured at a Tory Miller restaurant it would be worth it. And boy was I right! The boquerones were amazing!! The atmosphere was lovely, the plates came out in a pleasing order and speed, and we left full. Try the Basque cake for dessert!! It's very well worth it. I will definitely be back.

I went here today on my birthday with my husband. We have never been to a restaurant like this before. It was amazing! We sat at the tapas bar. The server was very knowledgeable and helped us with our questions. The chefs that served us as well were very prideful of the food. We had the Spanish experience for two. Every bite was like a story! We are going to be definitely returning.

I had a very enjoyable experience at Estrellon. As of this writing, I will say this was the best dining experience I had in Madison. The chef's tasting menu gave a wonderful sampling of the cuisine they have to offer. Each dish was wonderful. The atmosphere is upscale while remaining welcoming and comfortable.

The food is delicious, and we love the service and atmosphere. It’s fun sitting at the counter by the kitchen to watch the food being prepared. It's definitely on the pricey side in terms of your meal, though worth it. They’ve also added more reasonably priced wine options, which has been great!
