My time with Ms. Meme was great. I love my box braids. From the moment I walked in to her shop I felt very welcomed and at home. Meme is very kind and easy to talk to and when it comes to braids and locs she has a wealth of experience and knowledge. I am thankful to have found a place that is located near my home in Ann Arbor and I plan to return in the future. I was even able to get some info about starter locs for my son. Thank you, Meme!

At first few appointments went great she seems very nice. Until today when I had an appointment but had to rush my mother to the hospital the night before. Didn't have the chance to cancel and got a very interesting message from her when I tried to explain what happen. At the end of the day nothing I did was intentional an I explained that but still got a very disrespectful message. Her work is great her attitude is not. Will not be goin back to her for that simple reason.

This is a buyer beware! On her website her price is one thing in the shop You’re charged another price. Her attitude is very bad and lack business sense. I did not get my hair done because the price was different than what she said on her website. Then she informed me that I made my appointment December 16 and she changed her prices December 31 with no notice to me. so I showed up expecting the same price as the website said and confirmed. She became very combative, and I was warned before I went. Because I like patronizing black women in Washtenaw County I went in spite of. She charge my uncle $200 after the service was rendered different than her said price. So beware if you’re patronizing this business.😞 get a understanding before you get in her chair!
