A great bar with a welcoming environment steps away from Wayne State’s athletic fields and the beautiful Commonwealth Street. Great service, great beers on tap, a warm and welcoming vibe. There is free street parking on Trumbull and nearby side streets. The bar has an airy feel with a high ceiling. Worth stopping by for a drink or two!

What a great watering hole. This is definitely a cool spot to grab a drink. They allow you to bring your own food in cause they do not offer food. The drinks are delicious and plenty of things on tap. The staff is awesome and friendly. Stop in and grab a drink. You will enjoy the atmosphere.

My job went there for our Christmas party. It's clean, spacious and has comfortable chairs. It's well stocked for shots, cocktails and mocktails! It's also well lit outside.

For it's excellent top-shelf service, or the plain fact you can order a Japanese whiskey - with a spherical ice ball that can almost make you feel like you're in one of the quiet bars around Tokyo; these are a few of many little details that spell out quality - and I could guarantee top-notch service, having had the opportunity to chat with the owner.

If you happen to stop in during the quiet hours - you may not want to leave; but seriously, you have to leave - that is the custom after all.

So quit reading this review and enjoy yourself (properly) for once.

I really enjoy this bar. Very chill vibe with a nice selection of drinks. The staff is also very personable. 10/10 experience.

This is without a doubt, Detroit's finest Sports AND general music bar. If you ever feel down, they'll take your mood and pick it up.

This bar has the best bathrooms and the nicest bartenders. Order a Rancor.

Loving the summer spritz menu!

The Lex is a paradox. It looks like an exclusive venue. But people are nice. The bartender/owner fronts an Alice in Chains cover band that plays. He has a sense of humor. In honor of the late great Angela Lansbury he mixed up The Dirty Lansbury as an homage to her darker roles--manchurian vodka with a touch of pink for murder. Near the door you will find the same three online mortgage brokers every night. You can bring pizza or sushi from down the street.

A very well-serviced neighborhood bar, which is ran by owners who are incredibly personable, knowledgeable and kind. Balanced drink menu with something for everyone, spacious bar set-up, and an outdoor patio that guarantees a great summer/fall night with friends or family.

Great bar and great opening menu. Tried all 5 specialty cocktails and they were all 5 stars! No kitchen but others did bring food from next door (Pizza or Sushi) which is a great touch.

Make sure to order the ‘Fake British Accent’ and ‘Thanks For Last Night’ cocktails. You will not be disappointed. The bar keepers are friendly and helpful and the bar has a very warm and cozy atmosphere.

Its a nice neighborhood bar located in Woodbridge! The owners are really fun and hospitable. It will be great spot for the new G-League Pistons games! Its B.Y.O.Food so hit Pie Sci, Bash or Pettit Sweets and bring it in to the bar. Also there's a back patio for good weather days!
