Stopped by before a concert and everything was amazing! I got the fish and chips and they were amazing. My friend got the CBLT
and really liked that too. The fries and cheese sauce were amazing. The service was excellent and our waitress Jewell was super sweet!

I ordered on GrubHub to pick up dinner after a long day on campus at Wayne. This was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a LONG time! Both patties were cooked perfectly and the cheese was perfectly melted. The seasoned French fries with cheese sauce were delicious. I kind of wish I never ordered from there because now I know I’ll be spending so much more money ordering from HopCat! Next time, I’ll definitely dine inside because it is a really cool venue! Cannot wait to try more items from their menu!!!

Had amazing experience. All of the food was delicious. Drinks were super good. I recommend the strawberry basil margarita and boneless wings

First time visiting Detroit and this is a great restaurant to check out! Staff was very kind and accommodating. Liz also let us check out the event space upstairs which was great to see! I will defiantly come back to this place when in MI again!

The highly rated fries did not disappoint. Great selection of drinks. So many tap handles. Easy to pick a flight with such a large selection. Environmentally-conscious and great staff.

Our waitress was hall of fame worthy. She made my pregnant fiancé a custom drink and was excited to do so. She was on top of everything faster than we could think of it. We were going to see a concert down the street, and the service here was still the highlight of our night. It helps that everything was cooked really well.

I would drive across town to come here again. Amazing.

Delicious meal, great service, nice environment. There were quite a few mistakes from the kitchen but once corrected, the food was very tasty! I ordered the grilled cheese (the honey & apple were a nice touch) served with red pepper soup and cosmik fries, all of which were delicious and I will be back for more. Our server was lovely, didn't catch her name but she was very attentive and personable. We suddenly had to rush out and she was very understanding and fast bringing the checks & takeout boxes! Thank you for the great service!

Highly recommend this spot in Midtown. Their beer list is extensive, and is mostly Michigan brewed craft beers. The prices were very good, as was the food and service. I’ve been to places in Detroit that overcharge for beer. I’m happy to say Hop Cat doesn’t do this.
We’ll be back for sure.

We visited Detroit over the 4th of July weekend and loved this restaurant so much that we managed to eat there twice! The food, beer, ambiance and service was great. The beer list is pretty vast so we ended up trying quite a few. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Michigan!!

Omg! This was my second time coming here and they have the best cheeseburgers on earth! And the warm cheese sauce oh my goodness! And Roberto our server was awesome and and I asked him to take a picture of me and my sister and brother-in-law and daughter and it was so busy but he was so nice about it!

It may seem like a very minor detail however, the bar is extremely comfortable to sit at for extended amounts of time. Specifically, the slant on the outward facing lip of the bar allows for comfortable resting of the arms while keeping your back in a neutral position. You would never think of this until you sit and wait for 3+ hours on a Monday afternoon waiting for your flight.

Our family went there to celebrate our son's 28th birthday before the Detroit Lions big win over Denver on 12-16-23. Crowd was minimal a few hours before the game when we got there. We made reservations ahead of time too. Food and service was great! I had a turkey wrap and the cosmic fries (picture below)!Our son and his wife went to the game for his birthday, afterwards!

Love the HopCat! Fun atmosphere, good drinks, and a fun variety of food for your pallet. They seem to be a bit understaffed. We had to wait a long time for our food and rounds of drinks. I will go back, but not if I'm looking to get in and out.

Came here on a day date last year and had a beer flight and some nachos. It’s a cool bar atmosphere and it’s fairly chill. The light fixtures are made from bottles which I always think looks cool. My beers tasted it good- I don’t quite remember what I had. Overall I would come back!

I've always wanted to go.....my kids took me for my birthday.... I loved everything about my experience........ Kisha took perfect care of the 7of us.....the food was perfect...7 people for under $120.... I will be returning as soon as I can....(I loved the pictures of great people on the walls)

Lexi was amazing to me on Friday. Bar was slammed, I was in a hurry to get back to work. She figured out what was taking so long and corrected it. Really positive experience ❤🎉🤘

I've been here a few times and the manager Scarlet truly leads by example. My friend and I sat at the bar and we both remembered her as the super sweet woman who helped us last time we came.

The food is great and the service and team is better. Everyone from the hostess, to the waitstaff, to the management are even better. Hats off 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Delicious fries, burgers, and atmosphere. This place has been around for a bit and for good reason. Though renamed, their crack fries are delicious. With a sweet and salty seasoning on them they go perfectly with the cheese sauce it is accompanied by.

The burgers are smash burgers and pretty on point. Service was good, attentative for how busy it was on an early Saturday afternoon.

The beer list is vast and fun to explore. Large bathrooms on both floors are nice and clean. Good place to bring families, lots of large seating.

Loaded Cosmik fries are amazingly good. I also got the Buffalo wraps and chicken wings.
Online showed they had Reuben rolls on the menu but when we ordered it wasn't available so that was my only bummer.
Sometimes I forget this is a close option near the Fisher Bldg. Will order from here again.

I live this place. Took my boyfriend there she said he was not going to get anything. He did and loved it. The fries are legendary and if you want a good burger this is the place to go. Love the staff and how they support Michigan businesses.
