Emma Krumbee's Orchard

Old style diner with a homey feel. You feel like you're eating at grandma's. Wonderful bakery. Food was excellent. Service was friendly. If you are traveling through town, this is the place to stop.

First, my son, wife and I really enjoy coming here and picking apples together. It's a great way to have fun and bond. The bags cost $18.95, so that is what I based the entrance fee on. But there is no fee to enter that I'm aware of. They have some other activities too, but more for little kids. There is also a tractor ride that goes around the orchard. It is a great way to have a fun day. Try to get there early in the season though. Otherwise you're having to pick from the tops of the trees.

This is some of the best food around!! Everything is fresh and homemade. If you love homestyle cooking then this is the place for you!

Oh and we ordered and it was out in like 2 min. I had Turkey dinner and my wife had the chicken salad. Sorry about the pictures. We couldn't stop eating!!

Our mom group goes to Emma Krumbee's every year and we love it! They have always been so nice to us! There is lots to do for the younger kids and everyone enjoys the apple picking.

Today I witnessed something so beautifully magnificent, my words won't do it justice. There was a young boy and his Mom at the table next to me and I couldn't help but overhear the conversation.

"I know I'm allergic to the Country Fried Steak, but I just can't take it anymore"

It was at this moment that he pulled out his EpiPen, took the most glorious bite out of the steak, and heroically stabbed himself in the leg. He told his Mom to call the hospital as he sat there, going through the various stages of the Carbonaro Effect. The first stage is the realization that is the name of a hidden camera magic TV show, like the one you are on right now.

Great place to bring the kids! $6 to get in is such a steal for the value here. Between the dried corn pit, which is fun to bury people in, and all the fall games, this place will entertain your family for hours. We got some pies from the bakery, and they were delicious. Great apple cider, and many apple foods for you to choose from. They have a decent selection of apples to pick from trees as well. Good way to spend a fall afternoon with the kids.

So delicious! A little bit of a drive from Mankato, about 40 minutes but worth it. The service is good and the food is usually fast. They have homemade pickles and bread that are delicious! Their menu is also relatively cheap and has a wide variety. Their French toast specialities are definitely worth the try!

Very very good food. Good parking. A little tricky to get to but not to bad. Nice people and great service. Busy bit things moved along just fine. If I'm in the area again, will definitely stop by again. Highly recommend for a good bite to eat if your traveling up or down highway 169. Includes a small gift shop.

Use to be a tradition for our family growing up and it was bittersweet to come back. Insane how much it’s changed since being a kid, but still had so much fun. Was super kid friendly for my daughter which we both loved. My brother enjoyed the apple picking and doing the kid friendly activities with us! Definitely will be going back to restart the tradition again. Workers were very kind and welcoming as well.

Thanks for not price gouging like the orchard in Jordan! Once we saw there prices we decided to not pay and just came straight and it was totally worth it! This will now be the new family tradition place. Whole family was satisfied and came how with delicious Syrup and Jelly! You guys are awesome!!

Fantastic experience, even though the main restaurant is undergoing renovations they are open. The waitress was quick to serve and ready for our needs. The food came out fantastic, fresh, and quick. It is absolutely amazing how low priced this amazing meal was as well. Highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area for datw night or just a normal dinner! Don't forget to take a pie home as well!

Our waitress was beyond fantastic, her service was top notch. And for their food...words can't describe how amazing it was. They have great coffee. The only issue I have this place is that whole menu sounds delicious so it can be hard to pick. The fresh bakery goods are just one of the ways to get a delicious treat, you can also pick a milkshake or ice cream sundae. Options are a plenty.

The staff was super friendly and did have a great atmosphere! Despite my husband and I fighting the entire time with me in tears as well. My kids did like the food they had. Would love to go back when husband isn't in such a horrible mood that he was out to ruin our experience. This place was still enjoyable.
