These people run a great shop, be sure to call for an appointment! Great for kids and adults, lots of regulars and familiar faces. Frankie, Don, Ashley, Chris and Jacquie do an amazing job and they are all great with kids and first-time haircuts.

In the Albany area visiting friends and came across Chrispy Cuts, as my 4 year old daughter desperately needed a cut before we saw them. Jackie was our stylist. She was professional, super friendly and patient, and got my daughter over her fear of the blow dryer! The price was incredible for the service (shampoo and condition, cut, blow out and straighten). I should mention my daughter has ALOT of hair.. and curls. Most places will charge you extra for that but Chrispy Cuts honestly values your patronage and wants you to be happy and come back. I’m a happy mom. We’ll be back should we need any hair services in the future when in the area. Thanks Jackie :)

I went here and had an appointment with Jackie for the first time today after going to another stylist for 7 years and I was so happy! It was my first time walking out of a salon and feeling genuinely happy with the results I got for the price I paid. The prices are INCREDIBLE and she did an amazing job with my highlights and gave me exactly what I wanted. Not to mention that I was in and out of the salon in less than 2 hours, where previously I would be at the salon for 3+ hours. I will definitely be coming to Jackie from now on, she is so transparent and trustworthy as a stylist and doesn’t try to overcharge clients by adding extras like some other salons do.

Jackie is the best! She is flexible and listens to what you want and is not afraid to mention options that will keep your hair healthy. Her coloring looks very natural. She is very quick with quality and the price cannot be beat. I'm almost afraid to give such raving reviews because then it might take longer to get in but Jackie is phenomenal

Frankie was absolutely amazing with my son who a sensory processing disorder. He was so kind and so patient with him and made him look absolutely handsome. Ashley did an amazing job also on my daughter's hair. I would definitely recommend this barber shop besides the staff being friendly and in my view absolutely amazing it is very clean and efficient.

Took my father there to get a hair cut. Frankie did a good job. It was a nice experience and he was courteous. Later on I went there to get hair cut and beard trim and once again he did an awesome job. Nice place, relaxed and friendly environment.

Frankie give the best haircuts, and they are reasonably priced! Clean facilities that give you that old-school barber shop vibes!

I’ve been here a few times over the years and the last visit really merited this 5 star rating. A special thanks to Don who did a great job at salvaging a bad haircut I got in Schenectady… he even tried to take me in that Saturday despite it being a holiday weekend. Customer service and attitude go a long way in my opinion! I will be back.

The entire staff at Chrispy Cuts is amazing! Even during COVID, they are extremely cautious and are really great at screening and sanitizing between customers. Jackie cuts hair for my family and she is wonderful. Highly recommended for men's/kid's/women's haircuts!

I just recently moved to the area and needed a true barber to handle my hair and beard. I took a chance anf was very happy I did. Some of the old barber shops are more of just a hang out and can spend a hour just for a "quick trim". I felt more assured when i walked in and saw 2 other professionally dressed guys getting their hair cut. The gentlmen that wrangled my over grown beard and hair did a great job. I gave him a brief description of what i wanted and he provided some knowledgeable recommendations. True lather and straight razor trim.

Brought my two boys Aidan and Brandan there for a cut and Don and Ashley did a fantastic job on their hair. I’m new to town and wanted to find a place we can call home to get haircuts and this place is it. Thanks so much..
