Grateful we had a reservation as others walking in at the same time had to wait.
Dessert was amazing! The pot stickers were great. I enjoyed the apple cider chicken. The sauce was great on the sweet potatoes. My boyfriend enjoyed the French onion soup too.
Our server, Kate, was awesome. She was not only a quality server but a lot of fun and gave great recommendations to help us make our selections since it was our first visit. The staff definitely made our experience great.

Nice bar and grill! Wanted to come here for a while and glad I did. Got the open faced Reuben and it was great. Atmosphere was nice and laid back (lunch) and service was great! Would definitely return!

I like a rustic atmosphere restaurant with it's own sense of charm. Riley & Jack's has a cozy, low-lighted setting with lots of wood decor. It feels very natural and soothing when enjoying a meal or a few drinks with friends. The food has always been delicious with ample portions. On my visits, the staff was always friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and our food was prepared to our satisfaction. I will return again.

We made a reservation for just under 10 people for a late lunch after a special occasion. It was our first time there! I had heard a lot of good things about Riley & Jake's from locals so I thought it would be a good place to try. When you're trying to find a restaurant that caters to vegans AND meat-eaters, it gets a little tricky. Especially near the Clinton area it was hard to find a menu that looked good for everyone, but once I saw this menu I knew it would be perfect. And it was! Food was great, atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable- definitely a tavern vibe.

What stood out most was the SERVICE!!! I believe I was told there is only one server on for the lunch shift on the weekdays, and we would have never known that!! I am frustrated that I can't remember the name of our server, but if anyone from management reads this, the lovely young woman who served us at lunch yesterday (Thursday 1/11 around 3pm) is a GEM!! I've worked in the restaurant industry and know plenty of servers...not many that are efficient AND so so kind like she is! Her energy made an already great experience FANTASTIC. Thank you to her!!

We enjoyed our dinner at Riley & Jakes. Really liked the fish and chips and the green beans. The fried pickles hit the spot as well. Friendly atmosphere, plenty of parking.

We had a very nice family dinner here for the first time. Our server Anna was excellent! The food came quickly and very good. The French onion soup was "ok" but everything else was very good! Ribeye was cooked perfectly as well as the scallops. We will be back if we're in the area again.

We had our association annual meeting last week, everything was great. Outstanding food and selections, great friendly service, and very affordable. We will definitely be back again.

What a great experience, particularly with young children. This was a first time Christmas Tree shopping with my young granddaughters, and they were beyond excited. We wanted to find a restaurant that was kid friendly, and my daughter in law, who is a teacher, remembered that a colleague had suggested Riley and Jake's. What a perfect choice! There is a full and varied menu for both children and adults, with offerings for just about every taste and appetite. My grands got Mac and Cheese, Chicken Nuggets, and Mozzarella Sticks; my wife and daughter in law has burgers, I had a Steak Tip Quesadilla. In addition, we had the pretzel appetizer. Everyone was pleased with their choices. Prices are quite reasonable.
Service was wonderful: our waitress was very pleasant, and was attentive to the younger set. At one point she was assisted by a gentleman who was great with the kids. We were seated in a room off the main room, which we had for most of the meal. This was greatly appreciated, as our young companions occasionally let their enthusiasm overrun their good manners.
Riley and Jake's is conveniently located, has excellent parking, and is immaculately clean. Yes, parents, there are clean bathrooms, surely a consideration.
Riley and Jake's is a very pleasant dining spot, all the more so with children. A must try if you're anywhere nearby!

I promised my wife that I would take her out to lunch after church, if we skipped the bagels & coffee provided after service. We had a later appointment in Lebanon so I looked in the area for a place we had not frequented. We found Riley & Jakes on Rt, 31 in Clinton. We arrived at about 1:30pm and were pleased to see a thriving business. Our terrific time started even before we entered. We encountered two lovely couple exiting and they assured us that Riley & Jakes was first-rate and we were about to have a lovely lunch. The menu is quite diverse with unique selections. Our server Jade made our experience very satisfying with her insightful knowledge of the menu. The wife and I are looking forward to future visits to explore the rest of the menu. See ya soon.

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Riley & Jake’s last month and everything was great. We chose Riley & Jake’s because of its proximity to our wedding venue and ability to accommodate our large 30+ person party. The restaurant’s private area is in their basement, which after a little sprucing was very nice. We chose to have a sit down dinner and there was a large selection of dishes for our prix fixe menu. All the food was delicious and made better by a great selection of fall beers. My personal favorite was the meatloaf! Most of all, the manager John and his staff were so nice and accommodating. John personally walked us through all the options prior to our event and was there to make sure everything ran smoothly. Overall we enjoyed great food and great service at Riley & Jake’s!

Wow, stayed at a local hotel in town and was asking for a recommendation for a quick bite to eat. The front desk clerk recommended this place to us, and said it was one of their favorites. After eating there we have to agree. We were greeted quickly and promptly by the staff, and the manager jokingly, took us over and gave us a special table. we ordered the fish and chips and the October special of Wiener schnitzel, and both of these offerings were off the charts. The fish was done perfectly, beer battered cod that was absolutely scrumptious. The Wiener schnitzel was made with wonderful, tender veal, and the flavor was outstanding. The spaetzel and red cabbage accompaniment just took it to another level. And best of all we got to wash it all down with ice cold smithwicks beers. Way too full to even try a dessert, but they looked scrumptious from what we saw coming to the other tables. Wish we could come back, but we will the next time in New Jersey. #stevensleavin

Went there for the first time tonight with my dad and my wife for Father’s Day. Called earlier in the afternoon to make a reservation with no problem for dinner on the outside patio in the evening. Food was great and the hostess? (blue dress) was awesome. She was doing everything. First time here and will be back eventually when in the area.
