Second time coming to see Ken. I was recommended by a friend. Coming from Los Angeles, it is so hard to find a great stylist. He listened to exactly what I wanted and recreated it!

I just got a beautiful haircut from Ricki, at the Edison branch. A precision cut, looks great and convenient to style. $60 including wash, cut, style. 👍

Have been going to Jason for the last three years and he always takes the time to listen to what you want and then delivers!! Vicky is also great with assisting, whether it be hair washing, coloring, or getting you a magazine to read while waiting. Got a haircut and highlighting done today and absolutely love the results! Also past clients including myself who have been turned off by the rude receptionist/front desk woman will be glad to know she no longer works there. Smart decision made by management!!

Ricky is an excellent hairstylist that he helped designing my new short cut based on my needs, facial shape and hair characteristics. He’s very talented in what he does with superb cutting skills and unique techniques. I am extremely happy with my new look and would like to recommend him to anyone who desires a new look.

My daughter, wife, and I have been getting our haircut with Popeye for years now. We always come back to him because he does such an excellent job cutting our hair. He takes his time making sure we are getting the haircut we asked for. He’s been cutting hair for years now and his experience shows that. Friendly guy as well! Hair Toto is Great, especially Ricky! I've been going there for 20+ yrs, so have my children. We've recommended Ricky to our friends, and they all just LOVE him!
I used to get a little perm to give some volume to my hair years ago, but I haven't needed a perm the past 8 yrs b/c the way Ricky cuts my hair was just superb. He kept himself up-to-date on the skills and techniques, just brilliant.
I have friends going to Hair Toto for the other hairdressers, and I heard Jason is pretty good as well. The staff is friendly and courteous. The appointment system in Edison works much better than the one in E Brunswick, that we rarely had to wait long. Please make sure to make an appointment before you go b/c Ricky doesn't work everyday.

I have been working with their stylist Kwok for about 15 years, he is very professional and nice, I’d like to recommend him for everyone.

I’ve been coming to Hair Toto my whole life, and highly recommend it! Ricky has done an amazing job with social distancing measures. Appointments only, no walk ins. Call before you enter, and provide name, cell, and temperature for contact tracing. Because everything is so scheduled out there’s no wait time and you will be directed to get your hair washed immediately, with the different wash stations separated by clear plastic partitions. Everyone working has on a mask and face shield. Felt very safe here and happy my favorite salon is doing well!

Jason is the best hair stylist I've had!! He always listens to what you want. He is so dedicated to your hair and will spend a good amount of time making you look amazing. I'm never going to anyone else from now on.

Not the best hair salon in the world but good service for affordable price is also great especially considering the high inflation environment and everything is expensive. Recommend Sam for gentlemen's hair cut. Keep up the good work!

Amazing beautiful !!! First time I went there and Kim is an artist !! Finally I found someone who actually did the hair color. I always wanted his styling and hair cutting is a work of art , very recommended.

Jason is my go-to! They do a great job sanitizing and keeping everything clean. Friendly staff. Haircut with blowout is $45. Balayage $245. as of Oct 2020. Appointment is usually on time but sometimes can be a bit of a wait which I don't mind.

I've been coming here for over a year and each stylist does an excellent job with hair cutting/styling. I really like the way they treat their clients here and how they wash the hair. High quality place!

I drive 30 minutes to get my haircut here and it's worth it.

Although they didn't have the color that I want the end result is gorgeous. I was there since 930am until 3pm-ish. I think I have found THE salon. I got my hair done by Jason. He took his time. He gave me suggestions because I didn't really know what color to get. The girl that help doing my hair I didn't get her name but she was so nice. She kept checking on me making sure I was ok. She ask me if I was hungry or need to charge my phone. Everyone here was so nice. I definitely will recommend. Make sure you schedule an appointment a head of time cause they are busy.

New front desk lady is nice, different from previous one. There are honestly no bad hair dressers in this place. I have been going there for quite a few years. Each hairdresser seemed professional and tried to accommodate your request and meet your expectations. Salon could be busy at times, even during the weekdays. Different from before, they now try to give you appointment or reasonable wait time.

They offer a shampoo and head massage before your cut. Nice touch. I get a great cut there each time. They know how to cut Asian hair. They don't try to cut pencil line side burns or right angles into my temples like they do in more urban-oriented barber shops up north.

JASON IS A MASTER OF HIS CRAFT. I've never walked out without my expectations being exceeded. I show him a picture of what I want, he makes it work with the shape of my head, my hair type, all other factors considered. The man puts care and time while also being very efficient. Haircuts last 30 minutes to 1 hour and are better than any barber I have gone to. Unfortunately I have left the state, so I cannot enjoy another haircut from him. Do yourself a favor and get a haircut from Jason!

Went there for the first time today I got a gentleman I didn’t get to know his name but he was very kind he knew what he was doing I told him that my previous haircut got messed up that the lady cut my hair uneven so I just wanted my hair to be even and trimmed and honestly it doesn’t even look like it got cut, (that’s what I wanted I want my hair to grow long so I just wanted to trim my hair I didn’t want to cut off too much.) it was perfect then he pinned straightened my hair and it just looks so good. And they wash your hair so perfectly giving you a head massage I will deft be coming here again!!!

I used to go here all the time when they were in East Brunswick off of rt 18. I had Ken as a stylist and he always did such a great job. When I moved 40 mins south I’d still make an effort to see him. I’ve been to their new place off of rt 1 in Edison but today when trying to make an apt I was told Ken was no longer with them. I left the salon upset. If anyone knows where Ken went to please let me know. I was nervous to try a new stylist. They’re not a cheap place so I didn’t want to take the chance of being disappointed. I’m on the hunt of new place.

I have been a customer of Hair Toto for many years, I have the same stylist (Sam) who used to be at their Rte 18 East Brunswick location. And now, I'm a loyal customer at this location. I'm very happy and satisfied with the service they provide. I will probably continue to be their customer unless I moved out of New Jersey 😁Lol...(Veronica..🤗😀)
