Ordered a plain well done pizza and it was amazing!. Thin crust, crunchy, and good tasting sauce! I usually add garlic powder, oregano, and red pepper to all my pizza that I eat, that's what you see on the left pizza picture. I've also had the sausage and pepperoni pies and they are phenomenal! Love the crumbled sausage pie the best when a plain pie just doesn't cut it for the night. Cash only! Get the pizza WELL DONE or you'll regret it! Pizza is a little over priced for the size I think. During dinner hours give them 45-1hour for pick up time or you'll be waiting; they get super busy because their hours are horrible and only open for dinner hours.

My cousins and I ordered mozzarella sticks they were nice and hot and cheesy. Also ordered a pepperoni pizza and a double cheese pizza. Let’s just say we didn’t have any leftovers. Service was great, it’s a nice atmosphere with top notch food. Definitely a top ten place for pizza for me definitely would go again

End of an era, you were on my list and didn't disappoint! The coolest part about this place is the bar atmosphere on 1 side and family old school restaurant on the other.. think of Cheers if the made pizza too! Only sad i didn't go sooner.

A staple in the neighborhood that goes back....waaaay back. My grandmother went here over 50 years ago. Staying power like that in a changing neiborhood is not by accident.

What we had: Two, 14" pizzas for 3 people and a toddler. (We finished it....just the right amount).
Note: You cannot order slices....only full pies.

The pizza comes in one size (14"). It's very thin and it's very easy to polish off 3-4 slices. Personally as an average dude with an average appetite I could probably finish a whole pie if I was very hungry (8 slices).

Taste: Unique....truly. A little sweet and tangy, and generally crisp bottom from end to end. The cheese forms all these little bunches (see pic). You never take a bite and have half the slices' cheese slide off. We found this great for our 3 year of daughter, who could easily eat it without making a mess. It's average on oil....doesn't eat 'heavy' or 'greasy'.

The place is Frozen in time appearance wise, which I love. Same wallpaper, same booths, same lighting. If it ain't broke don't fix it. The place oozes old time neighborhood charm and character. If not for the fact that it's usually busy, you would swear you discovered it.

Really tasty pizza with character and history....it's a winning combo with the funky name (Stan Chitch's).

This is a feel good type of place. The pizza is perfectly made. The simple menu is just perfect for anyone looking for a old school Italian food. The prices are extremely reasonable and the service is great. The owner really takes care of her customers, she actually took off a pie from our bill because the waitress forgot to place the order with the kitchen. We did not complain because we understand things happen but the owner proactively rectified it by gifting us the pie. I highly recommend you try this restaurant out, make it a beer an pizza type of night. You won’t regret it.

Doesn't matter how much you like this place, or what good things I say about it... Today was their last day selling pizza. It was probably the best pizza you could ever have, and I'll fight people on that. To have a pizza that did not require cheese, just sausage and sauce be so good should be illegal. Life will never be the same.

I have to order the Pizza with Meatballs every time. I never have had a pizza with meatballs anywhere else, but I tried it after we moved here almost 12 years ago, and I crave it sometimes. All the food is really good and it's a great atmosphere, down to earth. Definitely worth the trip.

Delicious delicious delicious!!! Pizza was so good and with the thin crust I ate many more slices then I should have haha. It was dinner rush when we were there so it did take a while but I dont mind as hubs and I had a lovely time

Great "bar pie" pizzas. Very small menu, but what they offer, they do very well. Cash only so that may be a turn off for some. The restaurant is on the small side especially the bar area, but they do a good job at keeping it clean. They've been around for a long time and with the prices they offer and quality ingredients you receive, they'll be there for a long time to come.

Stan's Chitch's was recommended to me by a fellow pizza lover and coworker years ago. I'm glad that I finally made the trip. The old-school dining room brought a pleasant atmosphere and the waitress was super friendly and accommodating. Her attitude really made my experience a positive one. I went with just the classic 14" plain bar pie. The pizza is very greasy, but also very delicious. The cheese is buttery, salty goodness and the sauce is thin in a good way, but also light and sweet. The crust is crispy, thin, and light. It's easy to eat a ton of this pizza. The slices are also perfectly foldable. I also want to shout out the awesome music selection. The classic rock had me jamming out while waiting for my dinner. I can't say enough about this spot. I would happily return again.

I first had their sausage Pie 40 years ago and thankfully it hasn’t changed. One of my favorite foods ever, and I’ve had them. Basically sausage cooked in tomato sauce on a thin crust. Don’t know to speak of the rest of the menu as I always have the sausage pizza. If I lived next door I would eat it every week

My favorite place to pick up a pie (or 5!) when in the vicinity... I grew up on Chitch's famously delicious pizzas. The fine crumbled sausage is my favorite. Their pies have a unique flavor and can't even be compared to traditional pizzerias. 10 ❤s.. Better than 5⭐s

Stan's Chitch's is a landmark hidden gem. I have been going there since i was a little kid, almost 50 years now. It has a simple menu. Thats sll it needs because their pizza is out of this world!!!

Live 10 minutes from Chitch’s For 22 years and never knew it was here. Stopped by for a pizza and a beer. Had 1/2 pepperoni and half sausage. The pie was great although I liked the pepperoni half better. I prefer sliced sausage rather than ground but that’s just me. Staff were very friendly. Only thing I would do different would be to ask for it well done. Only negative was “cash only”. Definitely will be back.

First time visit since I moved back to the area. My new friends recommended Stan's. Ordered the Sliced Tomato & Cheese Pizza. Nirvana!!! Lots of garlic, beautiful tiny chunks of tomatoes all over every thin crust slice. Cheese was so yummy. Now my favorite pizza of all time! Thank you Stan's and thank you to my new friends for recommending.

I’m not so sure about the comment below me, but if i could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! This place has the BEST pizza ever! Was voted best pizza in New Jersey. You will never be disappointed when coming here. Never had a bad experience! Always a great time.

The best place in NJ for pizza. Thin and crispy, all toppings are amazing. The spaghetti and meatballs seem to also be a hit here. I’ve been coming here for years and I’m never disappointed. I’ve eaten a lot of pizza pies at a lot of different places and none have the same authentic taste like Stans.

I used to work here back in High School so I may be a little biased. The pizza is excellent, nothing like it around. The spaghetti sauce is homemade fresh. Ask anyone from the area that's been going here for decades and they'll tell you it hasn't changed one bit in the last 50 years the present owners have had it.
