Rileys has an awesome selection of beers, wines and spirits. The shop is expansive and you can wander throughout the first and 2nd floors. The second floor is mostly bourbon and scotch.

The prices are fair, but not exceptional. They have lots of store picks. The allocated bottles are usually distributed via bonus purchases, or a lottery.

It's always great to come to Riley's. They have some of the best private barrel picks, and if they don't have what you want in stock, it probably isn't available in the Madison market. Friendly staff. The only downside is a small parking lot, but there is plenty of on-street parking nearby. Cheers!

Very nice place and they have a great selection. I even found some 1792 single barrel and full proof on top of all their picks.

Everyone here was so helpful! They have a great selection of store picked whiskeys upstairs and some really fun rare wines.

Wide selection and fair price of whatever alcohol you're looking for.

I mainly shop here for bourbon. They have a fair lottery system for the more coveted bottles. They also have a lot of store picks if you're looking for something a little different from its standard taste.

Massive selection across the board and the guys that work there are nice and helpful. They have never complained when I asked if something unusual was in stock, just looked it up in their system no problem. They have a very fair system for allocated bourbon and are a top 2 option when I recommend places to visit for fellow enthusiasts passing through Madison. Great tequila selection too! Cheers!

Stumbled across this place a few years ago when visiting Madison and I needed a bottle of wine. Solid selection of products at pretty standard prices. Well worth stopping in if you are in the area.

Fast process with checking out and the people who work there are relaxed. The store has a really nice and wide selection of alcohol.

We ordered a keg of beer and a specher root beer 1/4 barrel for a grad party. Great experience in and out quickly on pick up and return of rented equipment. Equipment was in good shape worked like it should , which is not always a given. “Kids” working were friendly and helped load and unload the heavy barrels.

Great location. Located in downtown Madison, but the prices don’t reflect that. They have a wide variety of wines from different countries, but all at good prices. You’d be shocked by how reasonable the prices are with where the location is, and the variety they have!

Almost as good as the Woodman's Beer Store.

They have an awesome selection and friendly staff, though they probably could focus a little more on customer service and less on just talking to each other while there are customers around.
Anyways, so they have rauchbier which is apparently super hard to find, even in many parts of Germany. My friend was super excited about it, and some of the other selections they offered.
They also have like this alcoholic wonderland upstairs. Haven't been up there but it looks like they have a ton more selections up there too.
I liked the place.

First off I want to say as a collector and purveyor of fine whiskey this is the store for you. Their selection is fantastic and they will take care of you. I had an issue, and they took care of it to more than my satisfaction. Matt listened and reasoned to the musings of a mostly pedantic lunatic(myself), and then proceeded to oblige him by giving him a discount for any perceived slight. This was more than expected, and left me with loyalty to this shop that won't soon be forgiven. Thank you Riley's for taking what could have been a bad situation,and making it good. You have forever earned my loyalty.

Outstanding customer service! Without Matt's help I would have never figured out which wine was best for my tastebuds. Extensive knowledge of grapes and regions made the visit worthwhile. Will be shopping here for every wine/liquor or beer purchase I need make in the future.

Excellent selection of beer and wine almost borders on the overwhelming. They have an upstairs that houses more liquor, including some hard to find spirits such as American single malt. You can also ask for them to special order alcohol, or put items on watch so you can be informed when they are in stock.

This is the best place to go for your liqour needs. At first sight it's a little overwhelming looking at the selection, but it's worth it honestly. If you can imagine it they most likely have it. The prices are also very reasonable and they have a good build your own 6 pack deal.

If you’re trying to find a specific bottle of something in other stores and not having any luck, chances are they have it here.

great selection (not the greatest selection in the world, but come on. you're literally half a block from state street, in a college town) of stuff (good beer, good bourbon, good scotch, you name it). they're also really helpful when it comes to finding things. on several occasions I have called to see if they have something, then when my blind eye's couldn't find it when I got there, they didn't mind at all at finding it for me. I'm from Illinois, and while we don't have a Binny's here in Madtown, we do have Riley's.

This place is great. The staff is a non-sense group who will kick people out if they are causing problems, but are also very helpful. They have tons of different wines, mixers, and spirits. Definitely go here whenever I need something particular.
