Very authentic Mexican food. Many Vegetarian options. We had Veggie Chimichanga and Veggie Enchiladas It was freshly made and taste was so delicious Staff was Excellent customer service was the best part,More options than we had expected for such a small physical restaurant front. Inside, when allowed has spacious seating areas well maintained Seems like a family run business their dedication speaks to their price regardless in their food.
I recommended this restaurant for who Love to eat Mexican food.

Excellent Mexican food -- best in the area. Restaurant is byob with other solid drink options. Wait staff is great -- I noticed they'll sometimes wait a while to visit after your meal, to ask about desserts/check. But you can flag someone down easily.

If ordering take out, give them an extra 15-20 minutes. My order has never been ready on time. But always delicious.

One of the best fajitas I've ever had.
I had the one that came with chicken, sausage, and shrimp. They made it with a homemade sauce that was really tasty. They have homemade hot sauce red and green.
The other dishes for everyone in our party looked really good. I'm looking forward to going back.

These were some really delicious tacos. They have burritos, enchiladas, chimichangas ,etc. But my first time here, I had to try the tacos. The steak taco was great and the chicken fajita taco was incredible.

I placed a catering for Cinco De Mayo for an order of chicken and steak quesadillias, chicken and steak chimichunga, chicken nachos, and chicken wings. It was amazing! I love how I got a text when it was ready for pick up. I ran to pick up and everything was ready with the sauces. Everything was prepared well and delicious! Highly recommend!!

First time at this local restaurant in Matawan. I've lived here forever and never tried, it was absolutely delicious I got a steak quesadilla It came with rice and I think refried beans and sour cream. Amazing serving size and it was so good and fast. I also got the strawberry margarita non-alcoholic is what they serve there but I believe you can bring your own beer. Restaurant is located right next to DA subs at the opposite side of plaza. Location on 34 in Matawan. My friend had the chicken quesadilla which was also really good, we got the tortilla chips and salsa. Overall a perfect little spot for great prices, The staff, was great and very clean I would definitely recommend it.

The days I go to Aberdeen for work, my lunch budget is $10 so I ordered the Hard Tacos, which was within budget. The host/waiter said it comes with 3 tacos and I asked if that was fullfilling cause I usually eat 4 tacos at Taco Bells lol and he said it should fill me up. So I ordered it and the wait was about 7-10 mins I would say. (Nxt time ill just order in advance over the phone). While my wait, the restaurant felt nice, clean and cozy. The host was friendly and attentive. Theres no breakfast/bar area to sit at, just tables, but the place is spacious with lots of tables. Now for the tacos... these were one of the best tacos I ever had! The presentation of the tacos are mouth watering and look like ones you would find in a professional foto in a magazine, (look at my pics below) but they even taste better than they look! Definitly beats the taste of Taco Bell hard tacos. The chef definitly made them with love lol. The ground beef was seasoned and cooked well. It came with a lime which i love lime so that was a plus. The green hot sauce (I forgot the actual name) was amazing as well as I love spicy foods. You can tell its home made. What I also like is that the plastic utenzils come in a sealed plastic bag and it comes with a knife, spoon and fork! Its annoying when places wrap it themselves in their own napkin after they touched my utensils with their hands, or they give the standard bag that comes with only fork and knife because majority of the times, I like to eat with spoon. Now, were the 3 tacos fulfilling? I would say like 85% because the other 15% of my stomach wanted another one. (I'm about 148 lbs and 3 months pregnant, so idk if that was the baby that wanted another one or me.) They accept cash or credit, and the store is located in a small shopping center with enough parking, and theres a bigger shopping center across the street. They also have 2 person tables outside if you want to eat in nice weather. So if these tacos were awesome, I'm assuming their other meals should be great too!

Food was good....nice presentation! Only issue is all plates came out except the 1 they forgot to cook.

This was my family's first time eating dinner at Mexitacos and believe me we were blown away how delicious the food was. They did not disappoint 👏 I will be visiting again soon 😋😋😋😋😋

The colors, the paintings and the decorations put you in a relaxed and happy mood! The service could not have been better! I had steak tacos and they were great! I'll be back shortly

Ive had the food a few times now and everytime its is absolutely delicious. Today I ordered a Torta de milanesa and it was outstanding. Best torta ive ever had. Highly recommend this place!!

The food is really nice. The fact that they don't have a liquor license is a shame - we brought our own tequila but it wasn't the same. Still, bring wine and enjoy.

Amazing food, authentic, and reasonably priced esp for such big portions. No issue with service or atmosphere, just not a "wow" factor but both good\very good

Authentic mexican food, extensive menu and reasonable prices. Cant ask for any more. The carnitas was actually smoked and delicous. Everyone enjoyed their food. Waitress was excellent.

Chorizo queso is the best dip ever!!! The fajitas where excellent, all the tender steak and chicken and crisp Chorizo definitely delicious. Great service great staff!!!
