Red Line Diner

The staff is nice and the place is clean. The greeter was pleasant and quickly sat our party down. The interior is a mix of modern and retro of diners past styles.

The waitress was prompt and knowledgeable.

The pricing is fair for the large portions given.

Red Line Diner offers a delightful combination of good food and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu features a variety of enticing options, and the overall ambiance enhances the dining experience.

However, my visit was slightly marred by the service. The waitress assigned to our table seemed barely present, making the dining experience less enjoyable. It was challenging to get her attention, and when she did assist, it felt rushed. This aspect detracted from an otherwise positive impression of the establishment.

On the bright side, the food lived up to expectations. The menu offers a diverse selection, and the quality of the dishes was commendable. The atmosphere, with its diner charm, adds a nostalgic touch to the dining experience.

Despite the service hiccup, I would still recommend Red Line Diner for its good food and pleasant ambiance. It's a place worth trying, with the hope that the service aspect improves for a more well-rounded dining experience.

Amazing meal. We've been here 3 nights in a row and had something different each time. They were all really good. Desserts are delicious. Tried a different one off those each day too. They are baked daily and may not have the same thing each day. If you think you like something, don't wait for the next day and you may want to stake claim if there's only a couple of pieces left. The meals are large enough to share or good portion leftovers.

The food is is excellent. Portions are large, quality is good and the prices are solid. Service is always very good. Every time we come from lower Westchester Cty to the Wal Mart we eat at Red Line Diner. It's the highlight of the trip. It's always packed as well, so you know it's good..

Food is always amazing. Service is very fast. Place is huge, looks like dinner, very clean. Comfy food, huge portion, with lovely atmosphere. Bloody Mary was very tasty.

Really enjoyed this experience! We got a table right away and I think most everyone were sat fairly quick. Our server was terrific and the food was exceptional! The menu is huge so make sure you look at everything on it. And there is a big display of desserts with cakes, cookies, ice cream, shakes, etc, etc! Everything is made in house or in the kitchen bakery.

I had a hankering for pancakes for dinner and decided to drive about 20 min to get to the Red Line diner. I heard good things about their pancakes so was looking forward to having them. Wow, they did not disappoint! Fluffy and nice flavor and generous size. I ordered a short stack to accommodate some protein (2 over medium size eggs and 2 turkey sausage). The food was tasty and the service was fantastic. I was treated with such respect and warmth even though I was on my own. Add it it my food came out so quickly even as the place seemed quite busy on a Tues night. With diners it’s hard to know as they sometimes offer too many options and the quality isn’t great. However, people around me seemed pretty happy and I look forward to an actual dinner meal with my partner 🤣

My dinner date suggested this place since other around would be closing soon and she didn't want to feel rushed to eat.

Low and behold this was the best decision. I ordered the brisket with mashed potatos and spinach. She ordered steak with scallops and was very pleased as well. Our drinks were Pina Colada and Mudslide. Both very tasty and I will be back to go thru the menu!!!

Very famous diner around the town. Had a chance to stay one night around town and can’t skip to have a dinner of there. It’s worth to have dinner with family and friends. Check this place out!!!!!!!

This establishment was a delight to eat at. The food was delicious and the portions were enormous. The service was some of the best I've received in quite a while and the dessert was delicious. I'd love to come here again the next time I am back in town! I thoroughly recommend this establishment! Also if you plan on eating the delicious cheesecake, be prepared to have to share it with someone!

We were sat down fast. Nobody offered us any water everybody else around us got water. My wife's food was good my three eggs over easy with corned beef hash and potatoes was horrible. My eggs were overcooked my corned beef hash was burnt. This is the first time I've had a bad meal in this Diner and I've been coming here for over 7 years. I will give it another try and a couple weeks.

One of the most efficient, professionally run restaurants I've ever eaten at. We had a party of 7 on Thanksgiving with no reservations, so when we saw the line of people waiting for a table we figured it was a long shot to get seated any time within the next hour even after we offered to split up our group. Lo and behold, we barely waited 15 minutes and they sat our whole group together. Our waitress was friendly, efficient, and an all-around pro who handled our large group's customized order with ease. Our food was delicious and arrived earlier than expected with no mistakes. Kudos to the whole staff. I work in the food industry and that level of professionalism, cleanliness, friendliness, and good food is rarely found all wrapped up in one restaurant. Did I mention they also have a gigantic desert menu of cheesecake slices bigger than your head?

The best food option in Windham hands down. The food was delicious and was reasonably priced. The decor is old school so if you’re looking for fancy this isn’t it. I picked up my food and headed back. The other restaurants are double the cost - NYC prices- without great quality.

Went to The Red Lion on a Sunday morning and it was quite busy. I can see why... The food is excellent (breakfast anyway) at reasonable prices. They offered omelets, pancakes, French toast, all the way down to plain old oat meal. I had the French toast with 2 eggs and bacon... A ton of food to eat but the French toast was especially delicious. Everyone I went with said their meals were good as well. Service is a little slow but nothing to ding them for especially considering the amount of people waiting for tables.

Great local establishment to get quality food. Service was just awesome. Waitress provided plenty of feedback on dishes on the menu as we ordered. Drinks were made quickly and were super delicious.

Our food was super delicious and everyone happy overall. I’d definitely stop by again if and when I am in this area.

Went here when visiting a friend, and it's truly amazing! Got a burger and sweet potato fries and definitely worth the price plus some! Got some desserts to go and they were amazing!

Prices are reasonable, atmosphere is great, tvs but not too loud, definitely has that comfy diner feel and very clean.

Highly recommend to anybody in the area or visiting!

This is a top diner!!! Awesome atmosphere and our server Christy was so helpful. We had the Vegetable stir fry, Chicken and Biscuits, Malt Shake and Sundae. This is definitely getting saved in my favorites!!!!
