Highly recommend C2. The best BBQ LA cut in the neighborhood. The sugar was caramelized and the meat was covered with the sauce. Their cut is relatively thin, which is easier to chew. Their side dishes are also very tasty, and not salty. Love their kimchi. They are very generous with ingredients in everything. Only 2 things to be aware of: (1) they refill side dishes no more than once, which is stated on the menu. (2) they charge $0.5 per to-go container, which is posted on the wall. They are very clear with the rules, and their service was fast and staff was nice. We enjoyed the dinner.

Their business seems to get back to the level before pandemic... Only obvious change is Yakult after meal is gone... That minus one star from me.... The flavor is still solid and delicious....

I tried it and I love it. The Korean appetizer dishes are absolutely delicious and plenty. It's chef's specials are good. I also had it's Korean Table BBQ course - Awesome!!! The service was good and the price was inexpensive!! They serve Korean cold noodle here. It's pretty good at this hot summer time. This restaurant gives you a high c/p value.

Chung Sol Bat permanently closed in December 2023 due to property development. I was devastated when I saw the notice on their door today. I have been coming here since college and it is the ONLY Korean restaurant in this area I visit. I feel lost. I am grateful for the good food and services all these years and wish owner and servers nothing but the best!

Upon being seated, I started coughing a lot. It felt like there was some irritants in the air. The restaurant interior was like walking into a local mom and pop shop in Korea. So it felt homey, but could use some updating. FYI, there is no drink menu. At least, we weren't given one, and on the main menu, there were no soft drinks either. So we just asked for water.

There is an abundance of food with the ban chan (side dishes on the house). I ordered the shredded beef stew (yukgaejang) in a stone pot around 6-ish inches. Plenty of stew, and it came with a packed bowl of sweet rice.

Flavors: 5
The pickles were well fermented and I appreciated the variety of textures between all the side dishes. The stew had nice depth of flavor. Although everything is slightly saltier than I prefer, I do like that the stew had a lot of flavor and wasn't one dimension. The spiciness is just right with lots of umami.

Overall, I'd go again and try something different. There are tons of classic choices available and even had tables for Korean grilling.

Not sure why there’s so many bad reviews here. I had a good experience. This was my first time visiting. It’s hard to find a place that serves 알탕. The place feels very cozy and welcoming. The lady was nice. Food and banchan is great and reasonably priced.

I took my grandparents out to lunch and we loved the place.
Its very spacious but very simple decoration. I would of probably recommend to have a little bit more of a decor.
To get a table right away without waiting which is a plus.
The food was very good and we enjoyed everything we ordered.
I would come back for lunch again.

Good price, good portion of food. Besides the main dish, side dishes are great too! I would say they are one of the most authentic Korean place in the area. I had soy sauced marinated crab, tofu stew with steamed egg.

No frills, super friendly and delicious. Ordered the spicy pork lunch special.....absolutly wonderful and it comes with a nice array of appetizers too. Try it out!!

best Korean food I’ve ever had!!! I drove over an hour to try this place and I can confidently say the food was worth the drive! My favorite is the spicy rice cakes!! I will definitely be back for more :)

This place has great food and comes with a lot of free side dishes if you are getting bbq. For first timers the menu might be a bit overwhelming as there is A LOT offered. Wouldn't recommend going with a large group, nothing more than 6 probably, as tables are small and the space in the restaurant itself is limited.

Food was really good. A lot of rice in the bibimbaps compared to how much meat they give you. They use charcoal for the grill which is pretty awesome. Adds a different kind of flavor to the kbbq

Purchased take-out, staff was lovely, food ready quickly and tasted great!

First time eating there, second time having Korean food. Everything was amazing. It arrived quick and was bursting with flavor. Attentive service. I'll be back.

This is one of my favorite Korean restaurants. They are a bit pricey, but I love their seafood pancake and tteokbokki. Their BBQ options are great, too. Unfortunately, they don't offer pa muchim. I definitely like to eat in the restaurant rather than get take-out. The restaurant is family owned, and their English isn't the best. So I like to go into the store and order with the visual aid of the menu. They usually aren't too busy, which is also nice for a quiet and peaceful meal.

Always a pleasure coming here for weekend lunch. The various small dishes (banchan) that accompany your main meal keeps things interesting and are a nice touch.

Food comes quickly and has always been flavorful and filling; it's hard to recommend only just one item as they offer so many tasty choices.

They are permanently closed! So sad. Hope they open at another location soon.
