Found a red bat that was weak and needed help. We took her to a rehab place for a shot of fluids and then drive back to re-release. She did great!!! With so much energy, she flew happily into the woods.

The Public Works crew was so helpful giving us a bucket and some paper towels to transport. Big Thank You!

The trails are nice and wide and lots of birds. Some fields, a railroad track and pond. A great little find. Can't wait to return!

1st time. Very clean. The section along the tracks no big deal. Trails well marked.

Nice for trail riding or a nature walk. Beware though, there are an incredible amount of ticks here. Not so bad if you're on horseback. Peaceful atmosphere, quiet.

This little park is a great hidden gem.. It has a pond for fishing, and goose watching. There's a ton of tadpoles just waiting to be frogs also in the pond. The trail are well marked and have some muddy spots after rainfall. Ticks and mosquitoes are present so don't forget your bug spray. If you are observant you will find the remains and ruins of an old gunpowder factory in the thick of the underbrush. Enjoy!

Looks like they redid some of the trails since last time I've been here! They widened the trails and put down rocks. Took care of a lot of the flooding issues.

Quiet and peaceful. Saw a couple of deer and some geese. Nothing fancy, but maybe serene. Just what I was looking for.
