Dish Cafe

We ordered Monterey Open Faced Omelettes, Huevos California, and Dish Cafe Nachos. Plus 2 coffees. Everything was excellent. Coffee was probably my favorite in the region and I can drink it even black. We ordered beef Nachos, and they cooked the small little cubed steaks perfectly and it was very flavorful. Cannot tell how many Huevos and omelettes were used but we had trouble finishing the plate. The home fries were also very crispy outside and soft inside. Loved the picked jalapeño and carrots on top of the nachos. We will definitely come back for their weekends breakfast specials. By the way, we did wait a bit for our food. Don’t come here if you don’t have time for a slow morning.

Really great food, and excellent service. Staff is really friendly and remembers regulars. Food comes out quick and always tastes great. The coffee especially is really good- you can tell it’s an high quality roast.

There’s always plenty of people here but it never feels hectic, even on weekends.

I recently had a delightful experience at Dish Cafe in Highland Park, New Jersey. The wait staff was incredibly attentive, making the dining experience truly enjoyable. The coffee was exceptional, perfectly complementing the crisp bacon that accompanied my fresh eggs and short stack of pancakes. A wonderful spot for a satisfying breakfast!

Wonderful staff and great food! So many options for breakfast! Loved it. Had an open faced omelet which was so generously portioned, kept me full for an entire day!

Found this quick dinner in NJ !! and their French toast was deliishhhh. I had the maple crunch and it was sooo good ! the waitress was very pleasant. I enjoyed this place !

Wow!!! Not only was the food amazing, the portions were gracious and priced right. Super nice staff 👌 This meal was only $11 and included the coffee.

Great local place for simple, sit down, quick meal

My wife and I happen to walk by this place and decided to check it out. It was late in the day so we were the only people, but the service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had breakfast for dinner! Also- we want for a second time and I had the Mexican dishes and they were actually delicious! A hidden gem of a place.

Mary was our waitress and she was very attentive. The French toast and fried chicken were delicious. Great portions too. Family-friendly Cafe.

I had a great lunch. Ordered from the Mexican offerings. A really big surprise was the really excellent potato-leek soup, not prepared french style. It was excellent. Portions are very large - sharing is a good idea.

The diner is family owned. We ordered a western omolete and a broccoli and mozzarella omolete. Both were more then generous in stuffing. The price which is affordable for the amount of food you get. Our server Mary was a werling dervish taking orders and being attentive to her customers. I mentioned that my wife's birthday was the day before and she returned with a slice of homemade flan which was very tasty and homemade at no charge. A very nice gesture and good business in my estimation. A positive experience and we will return and try the other items on the menu. They also have a Mexican section on the menu and will take off 10% if you try those specific items. Nice homey atmosphere and friendly service. Give them a try.

This place is always empty when I go and I have no clue why. The food is great and inexpensive, the service is friendly, and the portions are awesome as well. Great for a casual dinner with a friend

I had an omelette that came with home fries and toast as well as a orange juice, I felt satisfied with my meal as well as the portion. This place is homey and perfect for those mornings that you want breakfast/brunch with friends and family. Thank you to our waitress, who was so very kind.

Great local spot. The .enu has a bit of everything. The vegan wrap was well season. The breakfast served is always good and fresh. Good waffles.
