Rashida Sawyer Bakery you did not disappoint! Not only was the chocolate swirl cheesecake amazing, the customer service was exceptional! Can't wait to try the cherry cheesecake and fruit tart we snagged for the trip back to Iowa! I have to agree with the reviews and word on the street. Best cheesecake I've ever had! Great way to end our time in New York. Thank you! We will definitely be ordering to have more shipped. 😋

Kind of a hidden gem! Hands down, the best desserts around! Anything we've tried has been amazing, so it's hard to choose a favorite! We frequently get cheesecake and carrot cake! The service is fantastic! Really, a cute little place... they have a few small tables, at least, if you'd like to stay for a treat and some local, fresh brewed coffee. You may place orders ahead, walk in for a slice to go (and sometimes they have larger options ready to box up and take home with you!) They even offer a small variety of other local goods! You're missing out if you haven't been yet!

Words can not describe what a wonderful job they did making a cutting cake for my son’s wedding. Simple but elegant!! I may live in Canandaigua but will definitely head over that way just to get a special treat!!!

I got this cake for my boyfriends graduation party at his axe throwing business. Thank you for this delicious cake! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a cake. It was all eaten up by the end of the night. Our family and friends loved it and kept asking where I got this cake! I requested the perfect chocolate icing and a chocolate flavored cake. They even made sure the Ithaca college topper was perfect for us. once again thank you so much!!

Big thank you to Rashida Sawyer Bakery for always making my sister's day! I send her cakes for special occasions and they make the BEST red velvet cakes! So moist and delicious. We can tell they really put a lot of effort into their recipes and decorating their cakes.

We’ve ordered cakes from here several times and they have been excellent every time. We always have people asking us where we get our delicious cakes because they taste remarkable. The staff here do an amazing job and put a great amount of care into their work. Great communication and timeliness as well.

Wow -- my daughter chose a chocolate-drizzled cheesecake for her birthday cake and it turned out to be the best cheesecake of my life! Wonderful, kind service, nice presentation (printed cake topper from my photos is from home, not from the bakery), and A+ quality -- Rashida knows what she's doing! We now have a better place than Wegmans or Ithaca Baker to get cakes for future celebrations, and proud to be supporting a black-owned business in Ithaca. Highly recommended!!

Rashida Sawyer Bakery was great from start to finish. I worked with KC on a delivery order. Rashida Sawyer Bakery was available to speak on the phone to resolve questions and confirm order details. Decided on the 9 inch red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Rashida Sawyer Bakery were also willing to try the carrot cake as carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. Everything was delivered on time and enjoyed by all. Wonderfully decorated for the occasion. Will definitely order from Rashida Sawyer Bakery again

That walnut crust on the cheesecake was such a pleasant surprise of goodness when we went to eat the slice we purchased.

The location is very nice, small but mighty in it's deliciousness. Enjoyed a sliced of cherry cheesecake and a latte that we took for carry out. My only sadness was the hours we spent in Ithaca and the hours of the soo barely coincided so only one trip was made, but I'm so glad we were able to try the cheesecake.

Service was excellent, so friendly and welcoming.

Rashida Sawyer Bakery makes the most delicious cheesecake we've ever tasted. From the walnut crust to sour cherry topping, there is an incredible amount of attention in every detail. The ingredients and packaging are of the highest quality. Not only delicious, but a beautiful cake to look at as well.

These guys are amazing 🤩, they did a great job, I sent them a reference pic of what I want and they did it exactly, it was my son’s second birthday and I decided to go with sky, stars and clouds theme, the cake matched with the decoration, Rashida Sawyer bakery made our day😊

Rashida Sawyer Bakery's cheesecakes are fantastic. Probably the best cheesecake I have ever had (even compared to cherished family recipes of our own)! We ordered one regular and one chocolate for a weekend with family and both were hits. The walnut crust of the regular one doesn't get soggy like cheesecake crusts from other bakeries in town, and the chocolate one wasn't too sweet, which I really appreciated. Further, the staff at the bakery were professional, friendly, and easy to coordinate with for our order. I highly recommend for any cheesecake-related celebratory (or non-celebratory) needs you may have.

I am a baker, but I recently had a heart attack and wasn't up to making my own birthday cake. I ordered the white cake with cream cheese icing. It was absolutely superb; the cake was delicious, the icing not too sweet, and the decoration was lovely. My guests snarfed it right down. Bravo. It was perfect.

We popped in for something for dessert for a special occasion, and we were not disappointed! The space is bright and clean, the service is friendly and the cake was both delicious and very well-decorated. I wish I had taken a picture of it...but it went rather quickly. We'll be back for sure!

A delicious slice of chocolate cake heaven in every bite! I went in today for my first time and this family business is a winner. The atmosphere is great --it's very clean and inviting and the staff was warm and wonderful. I don't eat cake that often but I would definitely go back to try all the others, chocolate cake A+, not too much icing, not too sweet, perfect texture and a sense of homemade goodness. The carrot cake looked really inviting as did the white cake. I will go back. There's a lot to dry you in here if you like sweets… Thank you Rashid Sawyer and family!

My go-to bakery in Ithaca! I’ve gotten cupcakes here for all of my roommates and friends and they never fail to impress with flavor and appearance! Highly highly recommend the cream cheese cupcakes- so so flavorful and yummy!! Kindest and most wonderful, flexible staff.

Probably one of the best things in Ithaca! Consistently fantastic every single time. Perhaps the best baked goods ever. Her pound cake is almost better than my grandma’s! The apple pie is fantastic as well, but the pound cake really takes the cake! Always tastes fresh too rather than like stuff that was baked days ago. Their delivery service is amazing as well.
