Carlo's Gourmet Pizza & Pasta

Carlos catered an event for me today. The food was fresh & absolutely delicious! John was great to work with and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend Carlos’ for your next event!

I love their tacos and food. I just wish they'd update their pricing on menus. It's been literal years since the price change. I have no issue with price increase as the food is worth it, I do have issues with the lack of transparency.

As an owner of several restaurants I like to give credit to the small businesses that deserve it.

Carlo's Pizza is a great affordable spot for pizza or Italian dishes. I've gotten their pizza, garlic knots and chicken Parm. All were great and I would say far more affordable then the other many pizza places in Aberdeen/Matawan. I have been struggling financially in the current economy so it is nice to have something more affordable. My only reservation is timing is a bit off. 2 out of 3 of my visits I did have to wait a few minutes even if I gave more than the allotted 15 minutes requested in the app. I don't mind waiting but it is in the back of my mind that it'll take a bit. Food and pricing is worth it though. Will definitely come back

Me and my kids moved to Matawan about four years ago. We discovered Carlos‘s pizza the first week we were here. The pizza there is fantastic. I am from New York, so I know good pizza. The specialty slices are incredible. The rolls, the entrées, the fried calamari…all delicious. They are not over priced and serve you with a smile. My son and my daughter are regular customers in this pizzeria. They go there after school, on the weekends, and sometimes we just all sit there, have some dinner and catch up on the week. The customer service is amazing . The owners and the staff ask my kids how they are doing in school, how work is…they are just so personable, They have become more like friends to my family. Love this place. Period the end.

Great pizza spot. No frills all flavor! Reminds me of the pizza spots in NYC in the 80's and 90's. Good food, friendly staff. That is all you need to be one of the best.

Thx for the prompt delivery at cheesquak state park last Saturday. Food was awesome and everyone in the party enjoyed the food.

First off John the owner is a great person to speak with and always accommodates. I wanna say it was about 30 minutes prior to them closing and he was able to make a fresh chicken alfredo pie to be delivered. And delivery is always on time. They never leave something out. Obviously the food in my opinion is off the charts. Shrimp parm, the francaise, scampi are fresh and tastey. The funniest thing is that my 1 in a half year old son loves their pasta fagiole soup lol we appreciate you guys

Absolutely excellent!!! I get take out and I pop in if I am passing some time, but take out I get a lot. Their dinners are great as well as their pizza and their freshly made sausage 😋 rolls with a side of sauce are to die for. I have tried several different places in town but Carlo's is the best.

have been ordering from here for a couple years now. food and service is always amazing! Chicken bacon ranch pizza is my go to its always so fresh!The hot subs are always so good ! if you haven’t tried them yet definitely check them out, always a good experience !

Food and experience are great. Carlos has been a solid part of our rotation for 13 years. Everything we've ever had on the menu, we'd order again. They are consistent and pay attention to detail. The food never gets old and with a variety of options on the menu, there should be plenty for everyone to choose from.

We've been going to Carlo's since 2009. They are amazing! And they do it all!! Best cheese steaks around! And their baked ziti is insane. I definitely recommend them!

No doubt one of the best pizza places around.
I stopped here for a snack on a Saturday evening, the place was empty. There a lot of tables inside to sit, all by the window.
I had a slice with mushrooms and the slice with Bacon, Chicken and Ranch. Both were really really good, with superb crust.
Service was very friendly.

I ordered eggplant parmesan with a side of spaghetti Marina the food was delicious on point plenty of eggplant I could have shared with two more people but I was so hungry I ate it all by myself great job guys.

Been ordering here for 15+ years. Absolutely solid every single time: stacked sandwiches, awesome pasta & pizza. Best Chicken Soup around!!!

Have been ordering from Carlos for over 25 years. Never disappointed….delivery guys always prompt and polite and the pizza is to die for!

Got two slices with meat for under 6$ and I am talking big Brooklyn style. One had barbecue chicken or pork sausage, I couldn't tell, but it was amazing. Best in the area and great value
