So this is my first time here because I work in this line of work and manage two businesses here in Ithaca soon to be an owner of a restaurant. I had to check this place out cuz I needed to experience my fellow neighbors food and service. Great job everyone here. Service was perfect just the right amount of attention. Thank you Amy! And the back of house great job with preparing the food. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente! The pizza had just the right amount of Burnt to give it that brick oven flavor. Let’s talk about the pepperoni on the pizza absolutely perfect crisp! I hate when you get soggy pepperoni! 4 star to the chefs in the back! The menu is simple and easy to make a choice! Great job everyone I hope this help a fellow restaurant owner! We all should stick together!

I have been coming here for years and have yet to have a bad meal!
I've worked in the service industry, so I understand their policies and can be patient with a long wait time. It gives you a chance to grab a drink at another spot nearby and the time is almost always much sooner than they say.
My go-to order is a bottle of an Italian red wine, their homemade Stracciatella mozzarella, the spicy vodka pasta with chicken, a clam pizza with added mozzarella, and I can never say no to a piece of their baklava or tiramisu!

Top notch pizza made fresh in a cool-looking oven visible from dining area. Cozy brick walled dining room--great vibe. It's small and a pretty snug fit--about 36 diners fit into that cute little place--which means it can get loud. Our service was friendly and attentive. Overall, I would highly recommend.

The 2nd time of coming to this spot and I was still unable to dine-in. Takeout only. It seems like a very busy spot which makes sense as it's located in college town. Plus, they don't take reservation - FCFS.
Their brick oven pizzas are as dope as always with slightly smoky taste. The reason why I came back when visiting this town again. I bet the experience can be much better if dining in as the food comes out hot and fresh.

Wow. Stunningly good Italian restaurant in the lovely Ithaca Commons. The vodka penne was soft as a feather, tasty with just a bit of a kick, with fresh parm on top. I will crave that until we’re back in two months.
The margherita pizza was just as good - soft crust, wood-fired, with EVOO, oregano, basil and mozzarella in a great red sauce.
The pasta dishes are served family style. We had three hungry people and had an appetizer, one pasta and the pizza - and had plenty for leftovers.
Excellent customer service from front to back. Nice wine selection, too - a Tempranillo was the perfect complement. Highly recommend.

I was visiting Ithaca recently for the first time in ~10 years. Thompson and Bleecker was a new spot (to me) and after reading the reviews, my boyfriend and I decided to give it a shot. We were completely blown away! We shared the meatball appetizer and spicy vodka pasta with chicken. My boyfriend said it was the best pasta he had ever had, and I would absolutely agree. Not only was this the perfect amount of food - it ended up being extremely reasonable. The service was also wonderful. If we lived in Ithaca, there is no doubt we’d be frequenting this place!

Literally, typing this as we are leaving the restaurant! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! We sat at the end of the communal table, and were lucky enough to get in right before a big rush. The wait staff was friendly and helpful, and as I said before, the food was fantastic! If we were local, Thompson and Bleecker would be in our weekly rotation of places to eat. Get yourself there, NOW. It's worth any wait you may experience, 100%!

Best food in town hands down, very worth the wait, and deserves all the hype it gets. Each dish I have tried has never disappointed. My favorites have to be the vodka roni pizza, any of the pasta dishes, and the Stracciatella appetizer. Also the staff is very helpful and I receive amazing service each time I dine in or pick up which is very often!

The most delicious spot to get pasta nestled in downtown Ithaca! We ordered the Spicy Penne Alla Vodka and the Mafaldine Truffle Alfredo along with the feta dip and all 3 were absolutely wonderful. Fun environment with good service. Excited to visit Ithaca again just to eat here!

Went here for dinner and walk-in, and waited for not more than 10 minutes as the place was super packed on a Saturday night. The ambiance was super great – really love the interior design and we were seated near the window. Honestly, the lighting inside was a bit dark but I think it matches their sense of ambiance. Food-wise, ohhh I love the pasta as we got the Pomodorino and Truffle Alfredo ones and got Tiramisu for dessert which was so good. Will come back here to try their pizza for sure and maybe another pasta and baklava..? 🤤

This Italian restaurant is definitely over my expectations. This was recommend by my local friend from Cornell, and I’m glad that I tried it during my trip.
【Stracciatella Mozzarella】 melted cheese with prosciutto and tomato, soooo good!
【Clam Pasta】I’m a fan of seafood pasta, and the dish is fresh, milky and a little bit spicy. Recommended to clam lovers
【Basil Pasta】 rich fragrant of basil, super fresh and good with wine~

Locals and tourists know it’s a good spot: it’s always packed- but the owners do well to accommodate everyone, within reason. I’m not sure why there are reviews saying they’re rude, more than a few times I’ve seen them handle/ kick out unruly and entitled customers, even last week I was there when an obnoxious woman was harassing seated customers, the owners handled the situation appropriately, got her to leave the restaurant, keeping the good vibes/atmosphere, as it’s a small space (I hear they are upsizing to the Barr Building 🤩, can’t wait). It’s clear they support their staff, and want symbiotic relationship with their community. I love the spicy vodka penne AND THE MEATBALLS ARE SO GOOD 😭

I haven’t even left yet and I’m writing a review. Best pasta I’ve had since being in Italy. Cozy, excellent service, love the mismatched plates. Both our wine selections were excellent as were our appetizers. I would travel back to Ithaca just to come here.

Absolutely the best pizza I've had in a long time. Perfectly done, with a crust that's oh-so-thin but has just enough structure to hold the toppings. It's thin enough to do the classic New York fold if you want. A real gem.
