Save-On Auto Service Center

The owners are honest, willing to help you as much as they can and are reasonably priced. I’ve gone to them a few times for different car needs. They were able to get a part last minute (within the hour) and completed each job within a good time frame. PLUS, they are dog friendly and welcomed my pooch with a treat! I definitely recommend Save On and will continue to be a customer.

Sav-On Auto center is a respectable family owned and operated place. The owners are very friendly. They were able to squeeze me into the schedule and they were thorough in finding the issues. Very pleased and I'll be back...

I went there after visiting the Tire Farm in Farmingdale, who by the way is under new ownership. These guys are totally ridiculous had to leave because of their incompetency. Went to SaveOn for the first time. Met with the owner and his wife. Very lovely people and took care of my tire. You have a customer for life. You guys are the best and I highly recommend anyone who has not gone there to give them a try. You can see their commercials on local TV.

I am from out of state and while in NJ my car battery died. Save On Auto squeezed me in immediately, and for a great price. I was in and out for a total time of 30 mins if that. They had 2 other customers that were in and out super quick as well and I could tell they have been there before by their interactions. Very friendly to me and made sure I was all set with everything before leaving. Would definitely recommend!

I highly recommend Save-On auto service with no reservations. They are knowledgeable, professional, prompt and reliable, yet they are also friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and let them service your car!

I went to Save on Auto for an oil change and tire rotation but then the starter on my car ended up going. The team was so accommodating, even offering me a ride home since I was going to need to leave my car there. They were able to fit the work in the next day and replace my starter quickly. Great people and great service.

Quick service. Called a few days ahead, came in when scheduled. Oil change was done within not even 20 minutes of handing over the key. They noted I needed new wipers, which checked out with my suspicions they were old. They also helped me with my in-vent phone holder and so now it will stay in place properly. The charge was below $100 for all of it.

Dropped my car off the might before after speaking to the counter person and explaining the issue. I got a call the next morning after they did a full inspection. The car needed a full 4 wheel brake job. They explained to me that most of the parts were original. The car is a 2005 blazer. I had to spend more that I expected,but having used Save On for my other cars thru the years I trust their judgement. Car was ready the same day. Bottom line as with most things you get what you pay for. The brakes work perfectly. I will continue to use this shop for any services I need.

Today is Memorial Day, my Ac was making a noise so my mom an I went on the hunt for so help to see what may be the problem. My Mom spotted Save In Auto an said look they are open. So we went in. This auto store I must say was the most cleanest an well organized shop I have ever been in. There we met the owner such a Gentleman. Michael the owner took time out off his day off to look at my suv an told us what May be the problem. He made a call an told us it will be about an hour an thirty min. Mom an I sat an waited. Well I tell you one thing it did not take not even an hour. I was back on the road on this hot day. We highly recommend this Save On Auto Shop. You will not be disappointed with your repairs. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and quick to help. I brought my car in at 8 am the day before Thanksgiving and they were done by 12! The service was Grade A service! I highly recommend Save-On Auto to everyone!

Omg these guys are the best hands down. Found them by accident looking for a business to do brakes at 7:30 am just came across them pulled in the main guy said he would get me in first and said car would be done by 9:30 am well he was so on point 9:20 to be exact to get me to work on time.
I won’t go any where else.

I went to have my car inspected and the owner stayed after hours to help me. Very nice gentleman and I really appreciated him staying after hours to help me. I would definitely recommend this location great customer service.

Highly recommended! The team at Save-On Auto is amazing. They went out of their way to help my young daughter who was driving my 2021 KIA Telluride when it got a flat a block down from Save-On Auto. Mike jumped in his truck, put air in the tire, escorted my daughter back to their shop and repaired the flat within 15 minutes. Not only were they pleasant to work with, efficient (didn't rip me off by suggesting I buy a new tire) but they made sure my daughter was safe thru the process. Best auto place!

So thankful for this business! Second time in two months that we got something stuck in our tire and we brought the tire to them and they were able to patch it right on the spot. The first time my husband drove it there as the nail wasn’t sticking out and the tire pressure was still ok but the second time, I don’t know what was stuck in there, but I couldn’t drive on it as it already had lost a lot of air. I had the spare tire on when I brought it in and they patched the bad tire, removed the spare, and put my regular tire back on. In and out within 15 minutes. Great, quick service especially when you need it! And I can’t forget to mention what great prices they have! Thank you!

Fantastic service! Brought in my tire and Mike quickly assessed the situation. It was a bent rim, not tire and they were able to quickly find me a replacement, and install all for one very reasonable price. They opened early just so I could get to work on time. Most places don't give that kind of quality service. Will definately be coming back for future auto needs.

I just wanted to extend a personal THANK YOU to Mike and his team at Save On Auto Service Center in Howell for helping me out this afternoon. I made a call to his shop because my car was dead in a local parking lot. I thought it may be the battery but I'm no mechanic- so I called Save On Auto Service to see what or how they can help me.
Without ANY hesitation, the lady on the phone (sorry I didn't get your name- anyone know) said Mike will be right there. Mike jumped in his truck met me in the parking lot and tried to jump my battery. Although the battery was fine, (per his meter and battery jumper) it was something else.
Most people mechanics or shops would just step back and say- hey, sorry- looks and sounds like an electrical or other problem we don't deal with... but Mike didn't do that.
He drove all the way back to his shop to get a tool, did his magic and the car started with ease!!!!!!
Now let me be perfectly honest by saying I have never used Save On Auto Service for any of my cars or know Mike personally. My only encounter with the shop before was when I helped a Mom out on the side of the road in Howell who had a flat tire and brought it to Mike to fix it. He did-charge me a more than a fair price and I pay it forward and told the lady who I had helped that the shop never charged me.
This may sound silly- but it was a proud moment for me. Not because I have no idea how to fix anything cars... but because in a time in need- a local proud Auto Shop stopped what they were doing to come help me out. It was satisfying to say the least.
So I just wanted my fellow Howell neighbors to know of there good deed- and to consider them for future repairs or service on your vehicles. I mean, you probably drove by it 100 times this year alone and never thought about the good people who own and operate a fantastic business right here in our own backyard!

Sorry... one more thing. Considering I was in a busy parking lot... I had the hood of my car up obviously looking underneath it to check to see if I can figure something out. I love my Howell people- I DO! But what amazed me more than anything- was, of ALL the people in the parking lot that saw me in some level of dire "need"... the only people who stopped and asked me (and there were 4 of them- 3 being women) if I needed help came from our friend in LAKEWOOD. #justsaying 2 woman offered to call their husbands if they wanted me to see if they can help. Talk about having a friendly neighbor.☺

I needed both back and front brakes done on my car , Mike had them done in a timely manner and his work was spot on perfect, my brakes are working better then ever. Plus He's very fair with pricing. Every one was so nice there and very helpful, patient & answered all my questions . Will definitely be going back there to get my other car work on ( A++++++++++++ )

I pulled into Save on Auto on a Friday afternoon at 4pm because my car was shaking and my tire had a large bubble. Evelyn and Mike evaluated the tire and recommended it was not safe to drive. They tried to find a set of tires To replace the damaged one, but were unsuccessful as it was late in the day. They were so nice and helpful even though I needed to have the car towed and they were not getting an real business from me. I would highly recommend this shop if you live local. Thanks so much.

Fair, honest, never ever try to up-sell or pressure to get/do more than necessary. Wouldn’t trust anyone else. Our daughter just had a fender bender and they took great care of us. Very thankful for this business!
