Chestnut Point Manasquan Reservoir

We took an easy walk around the lake, it was a mostly open walk with a lot of sunshine, and enjoyed some nice scenery. Took in the sights with a couple of turtles majestically posing on the lake.

Really nice place for a chill evening. nice scenery, good fall colors and trails don't eber feel too crowded. Great place to take pets as the terrain is never too severe and I didn't find any ticks when I went (late October)

Beautiful, serene, walking trail.

I love this place. Fishing, walking/running or just relaxing. It's a good place for Families and dog friendly (on a leash). I've even seen people on horses.

I was hoping to catch a sunrise for the longest time. That day was today. I was in awe waiting for the sun. The colors of the sky were breathtaking. Because of the cold weather, there was little to no people, which is a plus! Setting up a tripod and hoping not to move it.

Magnificent reservoir definitely worth going even during the Winter...

5 miles of multi use path for walking, running. Fishing is permitted. As well as a boat ramp to launch kayaks and canoes.

This area is normally covered by water but you can now take advantage of low water level and walk around. Kids also enjoy the scenery.

The scenery hasn't changed in the 20 years I've lived near this reservoir and that's a good thing! The nature is respected and the trails are great! The main loop is just under 5 miles, so it's great for long distance running, biking, dog walking and horse riding. The views are awesome and the trees offer great shade. This is one of the greatest gems of Howell and Monmouth County as a whole.

Always a great walk.

This place is just beautiful, perfect spot for viewing sunrise and sunsets. But the only problem is, is that it opens up a little late to see the sunrise, so I had to park on the side of the rode to snap some shots...

Great place to ride your bike walk jog 5 and 1/2 miles all around love it.

Good place for a walk, run or bike ride. This parking area has the least amenities of the three places to park at the reservoir but is real close to the environmental center and spots to fish.
