Ray's Bistro

I’m sure Ray’s has been around for a while but we just started ordering from here not to long ago as they were highly recommended by a good friend! I’m mad at myself for not eating here sooner! Food is fantastic, the BEST bruschetta I have ever had. Everything we have ordered over the past couple months has been amazing. The staff is great as well. We ordered through door dash a week or so ago and something had happened with our order. After door dash was unable to assist, we called Ray’s directly and spoke to Christine. Not only did she apologize up and down, she personally delivered our order to us this evening! If that’s not good service I don’t know what is! YOU MUST EAT HERE!!!

I’m somewhat new to the area, been here for a little over two years. Moved from NYC, where the pizza is top notch. There’s not really word of mouth ratings about what pizza is good, it’s all online.

When I search for great pizza in my area, the same pizzerias always come up. I tried them, and they’re okay. I finally tried Rays Bistro for the first time, and was blown away at how it blows away all of the other local pizzerias.

Firstly, it’s nice inside. The people there are really nice. The food tastes great, they have a great pie.

There’s one really bad thing about the place and it’s that they don’t come up in the Google search. I found this place via the Slice app. I really hope that the secret gets out. This place is really really good.

I placed an online order. I went to pick it up, and there's a sign on the door that says that they're closed due to covid. However, they still took my money. I had to argue with my bank about this to get my money back.

A hidden gem for sure and the price is right! The complimentary garlic knots and bruschetta are to die for. Spinach rice balls as an appetizer were great! Entrees come with a salad and were absolutely delicious. This was our first time here as a friend recommended Rays. We will definitely be back and will try one of their meat or poultry dishes! Definitely worth a try!

OMG! So good! Dinner was very very good. Even the garlic knots and salad (so fresh!) were so good. And reasonably priced and nice size portions. We did the takeout but dining room looked nicely spaced and clean.

Best new restaurant around. BYOB, linen tablecloths, nice decor and very clean. So many great classic Italian dishes on the menu, very reasonably priced it was hard to decide. Everyone at my table felt they made the best choice, we all loved the food. And save room for dessert, all we tried were out of this world. I'll definitely be back!

Lived in Bound Brook for 5 years now and always drove by this gem! Have now visited 4 times in the last 3 months, plus a friend had a party catered by them! Quaint, quiet little spot...nice ambiance! BYOB, generous portions and everything taste great and fresh! Always have enough left for lunch the next day and not breaking the bank! Can't wait until the spring to enjoy their outdoor dining area!

The food is always great here. They catered our last party and everyone loved the food. Their take out and dine in are fantastic as well and its all super reasonably priced. I whole heartedly recommend Rays!

I was at Ray’s Bistro last night for an event and had a great time. The food was delicious with Penne in vodka sauce being my favorite. There is ample parking for large events and most importantly the staff was very helpful. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for event space and a delicious meal.

The owner of the restaurant, James, was extremely friendly and the food was delicious. Compared to the New York City area, the price really cheap! Three people were stuffed and the total bill was about $75 for three people. They were very patient with us while they were sitting outside until their closing time. I highly highly highly recommend this place.

This restaurant is beautiful! Their coffee is so delicious. Those MOZZARELLA sticks we're fresh!!!! The cheese melted in my mouth as I bit into them. It was an awesome experience! I will definitely go back to try an entree. Their shrimp parm is on sourdough bread! So amazing!

I have had the pleasure to come across Rays Bistro around 4 months ago. Since then I have had nothing but superior service, excellent food, and really got to know the owners! I recommend the Rays Salad with Grilled Chicken to anyone who loves a salad for lunch! But they have also catered for me as well and everyone who had the food loved it! Highly Recommend Rays for lunch or dinner, corporate catering, and even a party!

Low key Italian spot that's really good. Friendly owner and helpful staff. Went for lunch with some coworkers the other week. Bruschetta is very good. Nice sized portions. Salmon was fresh. Good sandwiches. Definitely will be back

My husband, father and I had the pleasure of eating at Ray's Bistro this past week. My Dad had been disappointed at several restaurants when ordering his favorite meal - linguine with clam sauce. We had heard about Ray's and decided to give it a try. When we entered the restaurant, we were met by the owner Jim who was extremely friendly. Dad told him how he was craving his favorite dish. Jim made it himself for my father and he absolutely loved it. My husband and father said the coconut shrimp was outrageous - you must try it. Our dishes were wonderful also. I am gluten free and Jim had several options for me to choose from. If you want great italian food, give this place a try !!!

I very rarely go out of my way to write a review, but Rays Bistro definitely deserves a 5 star one. I **NEVER** enjoyed ordering or eating Italian food until Rays. Everything tastes fresh and very different from other Italian places. As long as I live in this area I’ll never order from anywhere else for Italian. It’s just so delicious every single time

Rays Bistro has the best food. the pizza is out of this world. Great presentation and great taste. the dinners that we have ordered at our Office has wonderful flavors and it alway nice and hot. Very delicious food. I would recommend Rays to everyone. The worker's and owner are very pleasant and friendly all the time. The restaurant is Excellent.

We had an order delivered and I have to say, both my husband and I are happily surprised and satisfied. Everything was delicious. Calamari was crunchy, it's never crunchy when delivered. Veal sub was awesome, the bread isn't regular sub bread but artisan bread. And the lasagna, let's just say it is all gone. You have
permanent customers.

Ray's Bistro is the real deal. True Italian food like your Mom or Grandma would make. The tastes are simple and authentic. I brought a take out order to my in-laws for a 75th Birthday celebration. They are 100% Italian and tough critics...they LOVED it! SO good. Many thanks to Cristina who you know is hiding a beautiful smile under her required COVID safety mask. (ugh) Such a great place and a true hidden gem. I will tell everyone how amazing it is and you will too. Thanks

This was my first time ordering from Ray's. The food was great. Portion size was very good. Better than many similar places. The side salad that came with the dinners was even excellent.

Great food and service for casual dining. We sat outside on the patio. The free garlic knots and bruschetta were great. Its BYOB so it's easy to grab wine from BuyRite a block away and then head down for dinner.
