Just went for a long walk here! Beautiful park!

I saw people fishing, biking, walking, running, and even someone just sitting on the bank watching the water flow. The path was very well maintained and went on for a long way. I walked for 45 mins before I turned around and there was no end in site!

A little bit buggy, but to be expected when it's that close to water!

A lovely walking spot - absolutely flat and easy. You’re on the site of the canal and see folks fishing as well as deer-spotting. Very family friendly walk.

Great trail with easy access, parking lot is a bit small. Super close to Homewood Suites which is convenient to get outside.

The walking/riding path is clear and flat. Perfect for any level of activity from a leisurely stroll to high impact bike ride

Great nature trail with Raritan river on one side and D&R canal on the other. Went last weekend, saw lots of turtle, birds and can you believe it, a whole nest of water snakes😁

Nice path to walk along with lots of shade. You can see all different kinds of wildlife and even birds that run across the water.

Nice historical lock on D&R Canal across New Jersey. Biking and hiking trail on canal towpath for nearly 66 miles. Canoeing and kayaking also. Many access points along the way.

Great trail with plenty of fun for family! Great for Hiking or biking and even for fishing and canoeing. We will definitely go back to visit again and again.

I love biking there, it's full of nature and refreshing. Parking a bit tight, but it's doable.

IMO better than the lock north in South Bound Brook. Tends to be less populated and parking is better despite being a smaller lot
