Excellent old school Italian. Huge list of specials. Amazing dinner for special family anniversary celebration. Large table but all the dinners came at the same time and all were excellent.

A co worker recommended me to try this place out. I am always willing to try different venues. Nice, cozy spot to bring a date. The staff was very attentive. Our waiter was very detailed in explaining the food items, and all the specials for the night. I enjoyed all the food from the soup of the night (Lobster Bisque), to the Seafood Platter for two as an appetizer. I even tried Duck for the first time, and it was enjoyable. The drinks were also good. Overall, a very nice night out.

Lovely restaurant in historic building. We sat outside under the covered porch. Perfect night for outdoor dining & the ceiling fans kept the air flowing & comfortable. Our waiter was very attentive, had all the specials memorized & was able to accommodate our separate check request. The food was fantastic, although a bit pricey. Would definitely recommend, especially for a special occasion.

Our family has enjoyed the experience at Saporé immensely. Their food is outstanding!! The attention to customer service is very important to us and most enjoyable at Saporé. The atmosphere is like home! Thank you for making every event special for us. Carolina

Old school Italian restaurant. Atmosphere Feels like a mafia movie. Simple to complex dishes. Had rigatoni in sauce. Simple dish done excellent. Prices are higher but in line with the experience.

Since their opening, Sapore has been a hidden gem of delicious, unfussy Italian inspired fare with excellent, personable service in a handsomely decorated, warm atmosphere.

There's no reason to schlep to NY when you're craving dry aged steaks with Sapore in the heart of Fishkill.

She planned an escape to nowhere as our early Valentine's Day celebration...
All I can say is that Sapore exceeded our expectations !!
From the escargot, to the lobster bisque as appetizers...to the incredible salad and of course our entrees... medium rare filets with grilled asparagus and roasted potatoes...
We can definitely reccomend Sapore for your special occasions....

Wonderful place to be and dine. Thank God there are still places like this left. Quality food. Everything is fresh, deserts are made in house. I have to say it again, EVERYTHING is fresh. The chef has been working his craft for very long, and it shows in every dish. When you need a high quality meal. You want a beautiful place to celebrate an important dinner with family or friends, you come here. No one will blame you if you come in between those important days too. 10 stars.

Enjoyed our date night at Sapore Italian Restaurant! We had the lasagna special and bow tie sun dried pasta. It was great! We also had the ricotta rolled eggplant appetizer 😋

We've been here once before. Just like the 1st time, excellent food, service & atmosphere.
The waiters are so knowledgeable about the menu & how it's prepared, reciting from memory. Wine was great. It was a little busier this time and my choice of table was taken, however, new seating gave me a different view of my surroundings.
This was a birthday dinner. We ordered 2 of the specials, excellent. Dessert was divine. We will go back. I do believe it's our favorite so far!

This place is absolutely perfect. I have never had one bad experience there. The food is amazing and constant. All the waitstaff, bartenders and the manager all care that you experience is perfect.

Attending college graduation in the area and love the Village of Fishkill. Came across Sapore when searching for a nice place to celebrate our graduate. So glad we decided to go! Services was excellent and food was outstanding! Will definitely be back since we still have a college student in the area.

The meats and seafood are all fresh, everything is in house and homemade, the deserts and wide drink options leave you wanting for nothing. It's not everyday you find a place like this. I brought my sister and brother in law after their marriage and it was an amazing evening. I love to come with my family for steak, veal, pork, pastas, ravioli, fish and other seafood. Cappuccino and desserts bring everything to a perfect close. I love this place, and I can't wait for you to love it too.

I recently had the pleasure of dinning at Sapore Italian Restaurant in Fishkill, New York and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I entered the resturant, I was impressed by the warm and inviting ambiance. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and promptly seated me at a comfortable table.

The menu at Sapore Italian Restaurant offers a variety of traditional Italian dishes, and I was delighted to start with their Caprese salad. The dish was beautifully presented and the flavors were outstanding. The tomatoes were ripe and juicy, the mozzarella was creamy and fresh, and the basil added a delightful aromatic touch. It was prefect start to the meal.

Went for Hudson Valley restaurant week. Atmosphere was very nice and the bar has nearly everything. Service was great and they make suggestions and answer questions you have about food. I had their Lobster Bisque and if I want in such a nice place I would have liked the bowl clean. OMG best I've ever had. I tried the Lamb Shank. Very tender and flavorful. My date had a pasta dish that had a delicious creamy sauce with large noodle. I believe the pasta was made fresh and so good. 😋 I recommend you try them. They really seem to care about service and freshness of their food

Yet another dinner with the family at Sapore. I honestly cannot say enough about the place. The entire staff are wonderful. The food is exquisite. They really make you feel like family when you come in. We were back again on Saturday August 15, 20202. We were a party of 6 and were treated as usual like family. Smiles and greetings from every member of the staff. The portions and selection from apps, to mains, to dessert is amazing. That's why we pretty much order one of everything from the apps and desserts. The food is 100% quality cooked to perfection. We have been to the restaurant many many times and honestly I cannot say anything bad about anything. If your on the fence about trying it out, just go. You wont regret it. 5stars all the way.

I was in the West Point area tonight because the NAVY Water Polo team played at USMA and my son plays for NAVY. I was looking for a good restaurant for dinner for us (NAVY food is what you would expect), and found Sapore on google with lots of decent reviews. Turns our my son needed to study, so we did take out. When I went to pick it up, the first thing I felt was regret that I could not be dining in the great restaurant you have. The building is wonderful, the bar area really cool, and the dining area just superb. At any rate, we ordered the traditional Caesar salads, ravioli, lamb chops, and duck (two of us, but the NAVY guy eats a lot). The Caesar salads were fantastic. Lost of flavor, none of which were overwhelming. Probably one of the best Caesar salads I have had is 10 years.

My son had the lamb and I had the duck. His was gone before I could say boo. I savored the duck. It was very well cooked, accompanied with spinach. Excellent all around!. Plus, the portions were decent sized, not something you see often these days.

I love fine dining, and am very appreciative when it can be replicated in take out on occasions such as this! Thank you, you made the weekend.

I will be sure to be back, maybe just to dine at the restaurant! Five stars all around, and a huge thank you for such a great meal.
