Nicola's Italian Restaurant And Catering

Stopped by on a Saturday night and this place was fairly busy. We sat on an available high top near the bar. Our waiter was very attentive & the food was absolutely amazing. Recommend if you are in the area!

Nicola’s is as classic as an Italian restaurant can be. The service is awesome and the food is no frills, hearty, well portioned and flavorful.

This was my first time dining here but Nicolas came highly recommended. The atmosphere is warm and quaint, the bread was plentiful, and the entree portions were generous. (I was the only member of the clean plate club in my 5 person party).

The price is right, the energy is wonderful, and the food is classic Italian American. This place is no BS - served with a soup or house salad on the side. This experience was complete with classic plastic PepsiCola cups and garlic knots even your Nonna would love.

I will be returning the first chance I get.

Went back after a reasonably long hiatus, and enjoyed a warm atmosphere, terrific staff, and great fare. Remarkably consistent over the years, fantastically friendly, and food like Mom used to make.

Enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan with pasta, added broccoli, and had some soup to get started. Minestrone was good, broccoli was fresh and plentiful, and portions overall were very generous. I walked away quite satiated.

Finished off with (homemade) brownie a la mode, which was warm and delicious. Talk about saving the best for last! Don't pass this one up if you have the chance.

Food was very flavorful, portions were generous, and service was very attentive. I was talking with my hands and knocked my wine glass of cabernet over. It was cleaned up so quickly and cheerfully, it was almost as if it didn't happen. And it was immediately replaced, on the house.

Awesome place for authentic italian..the chic francese is always amazing..their red sauce is def in my top 10 ever..the service is old school as is the atmosphere..took m6 GF here several years ago and when we are in ny now we always stop including just recently merry Christmas everyone!

The Grandma pizza is the best I have ever had. It is delicious. The clams casino, chef salad, eggplant Parm was all very good. The staff is always friendly. Highly recommend!!

Nichola's is a FABULOUS restaurant! I went there on 6/17/2023 for a party with family. There were about 40 of us. There were two lovely women serving us, who were on top of everything. We were all treated so well and attentively. The food was wonderful--I had Eggplant Parm with a Penne side. Delish! They kept the bread and the drinks coming and we were not wanting for anything. Just a wonderful experience in every respect!

Tonight we celebrated my in laws wedding anniversary ! The food was incredible the service was incredible. Everyone so friendly and they make sure you are happy with everything! If it wasn’t for the restaurant atmosphere which is beautiful and cozy . You would think your having dinner at there house thats how much love is in there food ! ❤

A pleasant surprise. I have passed Nicola's many times in my travels to and from Long Island, and finally decided to check it out. In a nutshell, I wish this restaurant was on Long Island because it would be my neighborhood go-to place.

I have read several of the bad reviews, which mentioned plastic tablecloths, run down interior, etc. Get over yourselves. This isn't meant to be fine dining. It's a 47 year old family owned and operated restaurant. They put their heart into their food, and my wife and I found everything to be outstanding.

I can't wait to go back.

Always great food

Nicola's is a neighborhood eatery serving up home cooked italian dishes. My wife and I visit often since we live so close - we're never disappointed. You can tell Nick pours his passion into the restaurant. Stop in or order take out, you'll definitely enjoy it.

Exceptional quality, portions, service and price. Highly recommend. We held our son's rehearsal dinner for 30 guests. Everything was perfect. Guests raved about the delicious food and service. We were very pleased. Great family business serving great family meals.
