Bike Bar

The best places are the one you stumble upon at random. The Bike Bar was exactly that, after walking around the campus for a few hours my wife and I stumbled upon this bar and absolutely loved it. The staff was super friendly and accommodating with their knowledge on craft beer selection. We also enjoyed the jazz band that had played there that night. Very clean, very friendly, and a very fun place to hang out! We definitely will be going back again!

Can't say enough good things about this place! Staff is so friendly and the drinks are awesome... I met Steve the owner and he was so fun and accommodating! Will be back for sure the next time I'm in town!

This quickly became my favorite bar after the first couple trips. Twelve craft beers on tap and lots of craft can selections - all constantly rotating. This is not a 'Bud/Coors/Macro lite' place, but there's still a beer for everyone. Liquor selections are all top shelf and they make some great cocktails with care and detail with them; including fresh squeezing your lime for a sour mix.

Great bartenders that seem to know the details about every beer they carry. Fun bicycle décor all around the bar (bikes hanging and bike parts making art) and often has info on local rides coming up and races on the single TV. Quiet place overall with a chill vibe. Tucked away and not often visited by students. A little more expensive than other bars around, but every penny goes to quality.

Cool vibe with a nice selection of beers and cocktails. Our bartender was great and offered to let us try beers before ordering. The atmosphere was nice and chill, not too loud where I couldn't hear my friends. We chilled out on the comfy couches in their newly expanded area. While I don't live in Ithaca anymore, I could see myself coming back again and again if I did! If you were a fan of Felicia's Atomic Lounge (RIP), you'll likely enjoy Bike Bar!

Great spot to go for cocktails while waiting for dinner. Cool vibes and interesting (good), high end cocktails. All fresh ingredients. Watched the bartender squeeze lemons for my drink and twist the rinds for garnish. Highly recommend. Looking forward to visiting again when we are back in Ithaca.

Bike bar is one of my favorite bars in Ithaca. Every time we go, it feels like we’re family. The bartenders are super friendly and welcoming! Drinks are served quickly and are super tasty. Also a great place for craft beer snobs

The Bike Bar is a super hip Ithaca downtown pub with delicious drinks, a great vibe and super cool staff. They have live music nights and host all kinds of bicycle events. In addition to the traditional drinks, they provide all kinds of delicious spritzers for those who like variety when it comes to cocktails as well as for those who prefer a tasty non-alcohol beverage. This is the kind of bar Ithaca has been missing (especially since we lost Micawber’s). It’s definitely my new favorite! 🍺🥃🍹

I LOVE this bar! The staff is amazing (shoutout to Chris) and the drinks are incredible! I also love the decor! Highly recommend!!!!

I really dug this place. Nice and laid back, decent selection across the board, friendly service, and close to everything downtown Ithaca. Def "geared" towards 30-somethings and above (unlike most bars on the commons).

Great selection of beers, and totally rad bartenders (hiya Chris!). They are knowledgeable and will help you select the correct beverage for consumption for you. Earlier in the evening provides you will some calm ambiance, but the live music a bit later is nice on not-so-crowded nights. It does get crazy at the predictable times.

This place reminds me of the Chapter House. It even has live music from time to time and feels roomy with the recent expansion. If you think you can hang with Grad students/Cornell Employees enter, as it seems like their turf mostly. Drinks are expensive but I hear the building is expensive to rent.

Had a great time here. Had two mules the drinks were very good. We got a chance to speak to the owners and they were very informative and what goes on in the area and definitely enjoy owning the business. Definitely give them a try if you were in the area. They have a very nice selection of different cocktails

A favorite bar in Ithaca! Aptly named, the decor has everything to do with bikes, as in bicycles. Usually bike related content on the TV. Several craft beers on tap, including some local! Not a huge cocktail menu, but everything on it is made so well, plus I'm sure you could request a drink of your choice their liquor selections. Two unisex bathrooms. Bar seating, a couple high tops, "regular" tables, and a small sofa. Sometimes live music on Thursdays. No parking lot, but easy for pedestrian traffic, plus plenty of nearby parking if you're driving. Great people. Mixed crowd, but definitely not a typical college bar.

Excellent choice of craft cocktails. Great choice of rotating craft beers as well. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff!
