Food and service was excellent! A ton of homemade options
They had a vegan black bean burger option- I added grilled onions, mushrooms, and hot peppers- delicious!
My husband had a cinnamon roll and chicken fried steak sandwich

We will be back! Thank you!

Went with my husband for brunch! I had a bagel with sausage egg and cheese. The sausage was a little crispy but still good eats! My side of hash browns was great but fell apart when you tried to pick it up. I had hot chocolate and for the price you get a really good sized mug!

My husband went for more of a lunch break. His sandwich, Mac salad and chips were reportedly good 👍😊 our second time here and still the best !!

Wonderful local cafe, and some of the best Eggs Benedict in the state of New York! Great atmosphere and service, we always stop in if we're in the area!

I'm an ER nurse and came in for breakfast after a busy shift. Waitress made me a fresh pot of decaf coffee so I'd be able to go home to sleep. Very nice, clean place. Great lake decor. Service was fast (but not in a pushy, get out the door kind of way). Food was EXCELLENT. Potatoes with green pepper and onions, topped with a delicious, tender steak and 2 poached eggs then drizzled with hollandaise sauce. Little accent of tasty sprouts too! It was absolutely delicious. Brownie and cinnamon bun to-go which we thoroughly enjoyed later in the day............We will be back!!

Fantastic brunch with an old French-American friend I had travelled a long way to see. The place was buzzing with atmosphere when we arrived at 11h on Sunday morning. The food was delicious: fresh and prepared just as we’d asked. The service stood out even more: good old-fashioned, down to earth, friendly service by all. Thank you again, Captain’s Café, for such a lovely couple of Sunday morning hours. Every town needs a place like this to enjoy homely food and great company!

We come here regularly. Actually we don’t got anywhere else for breakfast ever. I get the same thing every time because I’m obsessed- “The Original” omelette- cheese, chicken tender, sausage gravy. 🤤🤤🤤 Its always amazing and I’m never disappointed. Staff is also wonderful. Always friendly. This is our spot.

Unassuming from the outside, but the captain is cooking up really fresh and inventive takes on breakfast favorites on the inside at family-friendly prices. A really great place to refuel before getting back on the road for a long road trip. Highly recommended if you're in Geneva. Ask for Patty!

Our first visit was not a disappointment. The food was tasty, the saff very friendly with reasonable prices
Back for a late breakfast/early lunch, and again we were not disappointed. Read some of the bad reviews about bland food and poor service, and can't figure out why. The service has always been good, this time was no exception. Both our our meals were hot and well seasoned.

My fiance and I were on Seneca Lake for a long weekend and I just happened to Google a spot for breakfast. The Captains Room was the first to pop up and the reviews were very positive, so I figured let's give it a shot. God damn we were glad we did. Place is hoppin and it has an edginess to it, almost a hipster type vibe. Not sure if that's a good description but I'm rolling with it. The menu is traditional and diverse at the same time, putting spins on old school favorites like Eggs Benedict with corned beef instead of Canadian bacon or a breakfast burrito using a pancake instead of a tortilla. The food and service was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend, if you're in the Geneva NY area definitely hit this place.

Absolute gem of a breakfast spot. Came here on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Haven’t found a spot to compete yet! Bonus points to the owners for being super nice!

Breakfast was excellent! I had the Avocado Pico toast, it didn’t disappoint. They were extremely busy this morning, all of the service staff greeted us with a smile and were very pleasant!

Was looking for a mid-late breakfast when passing through Geneva on business, so I parked the Jeep in a parking lot and went onto google to find something to bite on. A few steps away was “Captains Cafe.” Waking in was underwhelming in appearance, but it was clean. Right when I walked in, I was promptly greeted and shown a few tables that were available. Coffee was offered first, which was unimpressive but not uncommon so not an issue. Was given enough time to look over the menu until I made my choice, and then I patiently waited. Food arrives, and I’m immediately impressed by its presentation… the edible flower made me happy inside! The dish was awesome, though I will say the hash brown was rather plain.

Either way, I’d recommend this establishment; I’ll be back again at some point to hopefully be impressed again.

Stopped in for a coffee break. An unusual combination of businesses colocated. A local cafe with nautical themes and a CBD shop next door with connecting door. They have standard diner fare with CBD add ons available. They also sell a locally made barbecue sauce. Outdoor seating on the side sidewalk and a surprisingly large indoor space for a main street storefront business. I would come here again.

Our group of 11 women stopped here for breakfast because we remembered the yummy French toast. Today we had homemade cinnamon rolls, Oreo banana bread, sausage biscuits and gravy, eggs Benedict, avocado toast, and simple eggs and toast. The restaurant was full and and we got our food fast.

The service was top notch! Thanks, Jen, for a wonderful start to our day. We’ll be back!

We were only able to have breakfast here once on our trip to the finger lakes. But I do wish that we had been able to eat here more as the food was delicious.
The avocado pico toast, Yes!!!

Excellent atmosphere with the best breakfast in town! All the staff are attentive and friendly which helps to make you’re experience warm and welcomed. Kid friendly also, which really rounds out a great place to stop for a bite to eat while cruising the finger lakes! Captains Platter! Mmmmmm. Second time here and ordering it again! Ohhhh and a patio to sit outside on a nice day! Thanks guys!

I went to check out FLXVegan, the popup that is there on Mondays and Tuesdays. It was great. So glad to have another 100% vegan restaurant in the area.

Of the two breakfast spots we tried in Geneva, I have to say this one was the best. Breakfast recipes had a bit of a modern twist to your breakfast classics. Ingredients were fresh and light. Portion sizes were perfect. My go to breakfast option is always "Eggs Benedict", I definitely recommend it here. Staff is welcoming and warm as a breakfast spot should be. Thanks.
