I took a candle making class today with Heatherlyn at Inglenook and truly had the BEST time! This shop is so inviting. The decorations and scents and just overall vibe… pure magic, the exact place I’d want to spend a cozy autumn afternoon.

The candle making process starts out with choosing your vessel. There are a ton of fun options to compliment any space. Then you move on to crafting your dream scent. Heatherlyn knows her stuff and really worked with me to make the candle I’ve always wanted. She then guides you through the entire candle making process, teaching you a lot about the chemistry of candle making and best techniques to care for your candles along the way. It was SUCH a fun afternoon and I couldn’t recommend her candle workshops more highly!!

I have only been to Inglenook twice and I cannot recommend this sweet store more! The space itself is stunning, fresh, and inviting. Items vary from plants to candles to cards to a refillable station of shampoo or laundry detergent… you’re sure to find something for yourself or a gift for someone. But above all, I have been so impressed by the owner, Heather Lynn (I hope I am spelling that correctly). She is such a sincere, welcoming, and kind person. It is very easy to strike up a conversation with her — very relatable especially as she is local to the area in which the store is located. It’s people like her that make supporting a local business so worth it! Definitely plan on going back again soon to try the candle making class. Love Inglenook and so happy it’s one of our local shops!!

Love Inglenook Marketplace. I have loved the store and the owner since she opened in Pine Bush. Her new store in Montgomery is beautiful. So cheery. Has that farm house look. Her candles are the best. I may try making one someday. As she gives lessons. Wishing Heather all the best and will be back soon.

Visited Beacon this past weekend and Inglenook was my first stop shopping. The owner (and her adorable dog Willie Nelson!) were so sweet and welcoming. I loved all of the handcrafted candles too- Into The Woods smells amazing- just like a "cozy cabin" as she described. I loved the shop and would definitely go back if I am in the area! I am going to keep checking the website for the next time "Lake Haus" is in stock :) Beautiful shop with unique finds!

Wonderful items here! Heather Lynn was a delight and helpful. Found a new skincare brand I appreciate called Spinster Sisters Co (bath soap smells and feels divine) and got my first wool ball dryer. Lovely experience !

This store is so cute and the staff is amazing. I came in on a rainy Sunday and felt immediately like I was in someone’s living room. I bought a mug and candle that I loved, but then two weeks later I dropped and shattered the mug. When I reached out to Heather, she went above and beyond to locate a replacement for me and get it sent to me in NYC. Amazing products and customer service.

Hometown cozy meets funky flair in this wonderful addition to Pine Bush. From toxin-free candles to glitter handbags, there's a bit of everything and always something new. To top things off, the owner is absolutely lovely. This is a must stop shop if you're looking for something special!

The owner is so passionate and friendly everytime I go in there and her homemade candles are the best I've found and they dont affect my allergies!! All her bags and everything she Carrys are rare one of a kinds! This is a must see store!!!
