I came to check this out before bringing my kayak so I went for a hike instead this day. Since others have reviewed, the driveway has been nicely paved and is a smooth ride down to the launch site. There is a small floating dock to help put in and plenty of parking. I will definitely be back with my kayak to get out on the water. The mendon ponds website states that car top launching here is open seasonally from may 1st to October 31st each year.

It's always a great place for a nice hike. Even spotted a large owl last year!

This place is obsoletely amazing for hiking! There is a boat launch that have a very beautiful view of the pond, especially at sun set

Mendon ponds was a great experience. Plenty of hiking trails, fishing areas and the upkeep was amazing. Great job!! Nature, open fields, animals. Close proximity to everything!!! Restrooms- grab your favorite #FLPC and get there to burn one!!!

If there's a place in Mendon Ponds you haven't gone to, then go there; same for the boat launch

Small floating dock made it easy to put in kayaks and stay dry. Also has a walk-in shore area. Drive slowly; the road is in bad shape (July 2019).

Pretty little pond to kayak, good size parking lot next to pond but road a bit rough to get down there.

Plenty of parking and an excellent place to launch non powered boats. Not a lot of room on shore to hang out, but the beaches nearby are good for that.

Used the launch for my canoe and kayaks. It's clean, quiet, and there's there's a dock to fish from. Or to watch the fish and turtles.
