I love this amazing resource for our community! Due to the excessive waste in the fiber industry I’ve gravitated to purchasing second hand, dead stock etc for better sustainability in my craft.

SewGreen is also a generous community business. I recently received some lovely donations for a fiber arts club I’m running at a local elementary and I’ve learned that they also donate to the schools after school programming.

I’ve had incredible customer service and genuine conversations with staff any time I’ve stopped in.

For a host of reasons I will always be an enthusiastic supporter of SewGreen.

I found some absolute treasures here at fantastic prices. There's a huge variety of fabrics and accessories here, all of which have been saved from another fate. You'll never find super large quantities here, but plenty to do a cosplay project or two. I happily visit here and feel good about the money I spend!

Exquisite place. We were pleasantly surprised to find a person we knew in the form of a blue fishy. Would have purchased but we had a bus to catch (TCAT - find review). The salesperson was nice and let us just be there for warmth from the grueling winter. We walked in twice, making no purchases, and her no complaints. Would visit many times again. Xoxo

Always amazing! I find the coolest things here. Their fabric and trim selection is always changing, but they always seem to have the notions that I need. It's an hour from where I live, but I would rather drive out here, then go to Jo-Ann's any day.

This non-profit place looks more like a high-end shop. They have mastered presentation. And they know fabric. I have bought scraps for a dollar and vintage stuff for lots more! I love that they teach lots of classes to area children. Keeping the arts alive in Ithaca!

I took my grandmother's sewing machine in for a repair. Wendy was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was able to tune up my machine and help me get the right bobbin. The machine is working great now! I would definitely recommend Wendy's services for machine repair! Thanks, Sewgreen 😊

Love the store. I have three sewing machines there for maintenance right now. Experienced and helpful staff. I always feel like I have nourished the planet and myself after shopping here.

Great shop with friendly and knowledge staff. The store has tons of beautiful fabric and yarn. Way better than any chain craft store.

I took a knitting class here and was excited to see a Local Fiber Pop Up that featured local farm yarns in December!
