Paul's Barber Shop (Appointment Needed)

I love this place. Norm, the owner, gives me the best haircut ever. I have not lived in Schenectady or even in NY for decades, but when I come back, I make an appointment to see Norm at Paul's barber shop. He is such a professional. I only wish I had more hair to give him more of a challenge. Norm used to cut my father's hair as well. There is nothing like tradition. I hope he keeps cutting hair forever. You have just got to love shops like this.

I would definitely recommend this barbershop! I brought my son to Paul's Barbershop for a haircut and was very impressed with the whole experience. We walked in and right away were greeted by Norman and felt welcomed. My son's appointment was at 4 pm and he sat in the chair within 5 minutes. My son had a specific haircut in mind and Norman listened carefully and then got his scissors and snipped away; he was very quick and efficient. My son was very happy with his haircut, and I would happily bring him there again.

Haven't been to a barbershop for about 30 years. Great experience going back to Paul's barbershop where I went all through school. Great job Norman!(Paul's son) I highly recommend this old school shop for a great cut and shave. I'll definitely be returning.

I really like Norman. He is very friendly and accommodating. I like the haircut including shaving the neck with a razor. I would highly recommend this shop with fair prices.

Norm is absolutely the best! He is like an artist with your hair, looking to achieve perfection - The Man is truly phenomenal and has Been my barber for 25 years!

Been a customer for years now. Proprietor a master barber taking appointments only, so no waiting. Ardent St. Louis baseball fan. Haircuts so good that my competitors, trying to pass me, slow down to admire the cut.
