Bickering Twins Restaurant & Tequila Bar

Great food, fun & friendly service! The ambiance was fine - either in the comfortable downstairs dining room & bar, or out in the open air on the sidewalk. Amazing take on ceviche and so nice to have tasting flights of very smooth tequila! My wife tried the eggplant smothered in avocados; I had a hearty steak salad. Lots of fun hot sauces and pickled veggies as a condiment bar. Enthusiastic young waiter - wish we could recall his name; he was a real asset to the restaurant.

WOW! Whatta great find. The food menu is small but the tequila menu is 3 times the size!! With that said I am thankful for the small food menu bcuz it would have been impossible to figure out what I wanted. The food, my gosh the food...so good. If you are a tequila person, this is your new home!!! The food, the cocktails, the service made for a perfect experience. The place was so clean and all of the employees are so accommodating. We will definitely be going back and bringing family and friends with us.

This is a review of a shell steak. I cannot get it out of my head.

The meat is marinated and tender and super fresh. It's cooked to perfection. It comes with this extremely garlicky lime sauce that is absolutely the best thing I've ever tasted, and compliments it all perfectly. I will go back to this place and forgive any other flaw to have another one of those shell steaks.

Our wait time was long (forgivable, they were very busy.) Our table was a little cramped. You have to pay for the first round of chips (though it seems like all subsequent refills are free.) But that shell steak was so good that it negates what would've otherwise been a four star review.

They also had a fantastic drink selection and their cold bar was great. The pickled onions in particular are worth the walk up there alone.

But holy cow, the quality of that steak just sets this place apart so much for me. I'll be back many times over for that alone.

Fresh, delicious and authentic. Best Mexican food around and Chef's tasting menu nights are incredible. The food is inspired, delicious and never disappoints. Staff are friendly and caring.

Really great food! The place was so busy when we came in. We needed to sit at the bar while we waited for a table to open up for 20 minutes. They served us drinks at the bar and then we moved to the table to have chips and guacamole with the chicken quesadilla and two of the tacos pablanos. Overall a large of amount of food that was perfectly flavored. The staff was very nice and the seating was perfect. Hope this helps!

Was in town for only a few days and thankfully we stumbled into this gem of Ithaca. Easily some of the best service I’ve received in my life at a bar/restaurant (and I’ve worked in the industry for a bit) and the food was also incredible. An absolute must stop if you’re ever in Ithaca looking for a fun place to grab food or drinks. 10/10 would recommend and will be back

Absolutely loved this place. My husband had the mango-rota with a chili salted rim and it was unreal. I had a house margarita and it was strong and to the point! We both tried different tacos and they were incredible. Highly recommend the Mahi Mahi taco and the Garlic Shrimp taco. Will definitely come here again!!

This was one of the best dining experiences we have experienced this week in Ithaca. The food was amazing and the service even better. Our party of three sat at the bar to take in the atmosphere and watch the unique cocktails being mixed. Brianna provided exceptional service and we learned she pulled a double and was the prep cook that morning. The sauces she made were so fresh and delish! Recommend Bickering Twins without hesitation.

Went here for dinner with my boyfriend and it was amazing! The service was quick, food was delicious, margaritas were strong, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Will definitely come again when in the area!

Fantastic restaurant. Even on a Saturday night you won't likely have an issue getting a seat. Great selection of tacos. Everything I had was delicious, and the margaritas are great. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere inside is comfortable. Some outdoor seating available.

Chris is the best server. I haven’t even gotten my food yet and I had to write a review about them. They were so accommodating to special dietary restrictions, helped us through the order, refilled our water before we needed it. Looking forward to the meal haha!

I've found a new favourite restaurant in Ithaca! The food here taste so good like home-cooked food you get to eat when you visit a house of a friend who really enjoys cooking. The quality of the ingredient is top-notch. The picked onions which is one among the four topping/seasonings provided on each table taste divine. It's crispy and flavorful. Such a good addition to the tacos! And the best picked onions I have had so far.

I had two types of tacos. One was lamb steamed in banana and avocado leaves. (How creative and unique!) The other one was sliced beef. There was nothing wrong with the latter but the former truly stood out. I have had lamb cooked in different spices prior to this, but never with such leaves. (eg. I love those cooked with Indian spices but dislike those cooked with Moroccan spices). This way of cooking bring out the lamb's taste meanwhile decreasing the intensity of its smell to the point where it's low enough and you can appreciate it. The meat isn't spiced or seasoned in anyway, which make sense considering how tasteful the four toppings/seasonings are. Overall, the dish has managed to beautifully bring out the taste of the lamb without diminishing the toppings' greatness. It has every texture you can wish for - the thinly chewable slices of steamed lamb, the softness of the homemade tortilla wrap, the crispiness of the pickled onions, the two saucy sensation (green and red salsa), the finely chopped coriander leaves that just blend everything together, and of course, squeeze of fresh lime that awaken your taste buds.

Ps. The dessert was scrumptious too! This creme brulee-like dessert is rich with orange taste. The custard is so soft - like that of pudding. This contrast perfectly with the thinly crispy caramelized top. I haven't had such a high quality dessert in a while. It was such a memorable and inspirational meal!

Ps2. It was my first time there but my friend who had came here months ago recognized that they have increased the variety in the menus. Although it's now more expensive than before, the food is so good that it's definitely worthwhile. Try visiting again if you had been here long ago. They have stepped up their game!!!

We had an amazing dinner while visiting our daughter at Cornell. Salsa was the best I have ever had, even in Mexico. Chicken enchiladas were delightful. Service was excellent as well.

Perfect dinner for visitors near the Commons- the taco platter and plate are terrific with a delectible selection of fillings. Try the chipotle chocolate cake!

Fantastic tacos, great salsa, amazing pickles, delicious plantains, incredible horchata. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Next time I’ll be ordering everything I didn’t try this time around!

We loved it. Went 2x in one week. The skirt steak was tender and cooked perfectly. I had never had a green sauce like the one they used on the steak. Wow, just a little spice, a little citrus. The next time I had the lamb. Moist and subtle flavors. All the dishes we had like the tacos with shrimp are prepared in a unique and refreshing style. Our servers were spot on and they knew how the dishes were prepared. The twins know what they are doing. Next time we are in town, we are going back.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant and we had a blast! The food was delicious and the service/ staff members were incredible! We had delicious cocktails made by Brianna and Jaffre at the bar, who both had fun and inviting personalities. Mark C was our waiter and he had great recommendations. Despite being busy, he was very attentive to our many dietary needs and was clearly extremely knowledgable with the menu while answering our many questions. We are already looking forward to our next meal at Bickering Twins Restaurant!!

Amazing food! Absolutely loved the shrimp tacos and the al pastor tacos. The guac was also out of this world and the empanadas were wonderful. Strong delicious margs and mules. Also the new tequila tasting is awesome. Highly highly recommend!

Delicious. I had the seasonal vegetable tacos (eggplant), chips and guacamole, and empanadas. Draft beer selection was excellent, with an interesting cocktail menu. Interior space was very inviting.

We just had a dinner here after my friend’s graduation… the food is good and fast served… the waitress was really professional and friendly…
