Ithaca Apartment & Laundromat

Laundry was Esau’s to do. It opens at 7 closes at 10. But they just ask for you to have the last load in by 9 . And just hang out there until done for the fact the door Lockes. But super convenient if you don’t live far.

This is the first time I have been here but I like it. It's quiet clean and nice, Which is all you can ask for in a laundromat. I have never seen the reusable cards that you load money on but it was an interesting new experience. The washers and dryers are all new and nice. There is limited parking in the back of the place, but there is plenty of free street parking right out front.

Easy to use washers and dryers quite atmosphere make laundry day less stressful.

I wish the dryers would dry better and the cards work better than what they do

Not expensive and sells detergent on site.

The laundromat was clean just had a hard time getting a laundry card but the machines were good and clean and work well

I'm a local and used this laundromat for 2 years. It was always a pleasant experience. I found the laundry cards to be useful as a regular, since I did not need to worry about quarters. The loads were efficient and reliable and it was always quiet and calm inside.

This laundromat is in a very convenient location in downtown Ithaca, and is well cleaned and maintained. The one potential drawback (if one chooses to see it as such) is that every amenity in this laundromat is operated by use of a pre-loaded card exclusive to this location. These are called Easy Cards, and are administered by machines on-site. Increments of $1, $5, $10, or $20 may be loaded onto an Easy Card at once, and because none of the laundry machines or product dispensers cost a whole dollar amount, sooner or later one must ALWAYS add more money to one's Easy Card in order to continue doing one's laundry at the Ithaca Laundromat. The fact that this laundromat has only machines which do not accept coins and only operate by Easy Card combined with the fact that one is inevitably left with a small sum of change on one's Easy Card that is too little to do anything with aggressively encourages return customers. This could be considered a negative thing, but perhaps not, when one considers that the lack of actual money on site compared to other laundromats and the probable reduction of customers carrying cash to the location- it is possible that Easy Cards help discourage crime and vandalism at the Ithaca Laundromat.

The service is convenient and neat. It’s recommended that you use pouch detergent, because the detergent containers tend to be dirty. The smallest loads are 2.50$ and drying is 0.25$ per 8 minutes (you could set it for however long you choose). Great place overall!

I freaking love this laundry Matt, only problem I have with it is I one up talking to the same guy almost every time and it a little creepy I think he could be delusional.. he leaves lost people alone though.

Pretty standard laundromat. Newer machines and a college-town vibe. No complaints.
