Baba & Pop's Pierogi

This place is a treasure! We had some great Pierogi in Colorado Springs, which inspired us to look around Denver. I lived in the Eastern block of Europe for 6 years, and these pierogis are easily the best I've had. The traditional versions are amazing and the local variations work so well!

Such a lovely mid century mod establishment located on East Colfax in the Aurora Cultural Arts District. We ordered takeout but would def come back again to eat at the restaurant. The cabbage rolls which were fantastic super juicy delicious. We also ordered two kinds of pierogies both outstanding! The kale salad with fried chicken and apples was an extra treat. It’s all even delicious as leftovers the next day. The purple cabbage and onions make you feel like you’re eating healthy. They also have packages of pierogis to take home. Next time I definitely will try the almond cookies. It looks like they have a full bar too. Score! Highly recommend this restaurant.

The cabbage rolls were a flavor sensation, then i tasted my wifes kabassa periogies man 2 sensations from flavor town. But you need to be the mayor of your own flavor town, i know you be happy with whatever you order.

Love this place! Their food is fantastic and the burger on their new Sunday brunch menu is out of this world — one of the best burgers I’ve had in Colorado. Pro tip: buy a bag of frozen pierogi to go, along with a couple of cabbage rolls, if they’re in stock. (They make great snacks at home.) Also, there’s a full bar here, another reason to love brunch or enjoy dinner or date night.

Insanely delicious! What place has hand sanitizer, high chairs, and a painting of the grandparents along with amazing pierogies?! Baba & Pop's Pierogi! The Uncle Paul's Pierogi Poutine with pulled pork, bone gravy, and Cream City cheese curds is my favorite. That crispy blanket of cheese has the perfect taste and texture. Finish it off with the juicy Apple Pie-rogi. They have happy hour specials for food, and alcoholic beverages are available. The ingredients are like the family that run this business, every ingredient matters.

This is a solid 5 rating! Enjoyed the food so much I went back again for my 2nd week. Thoroughly impressed and they are extremely clean! They wiped down the tables after people left including the seats and sides of table and then cleaned it again! Great job everyone! Even the music was great.

These pierogies are legit! The pierogie dough and filling was delicious! I bought 2 frozen packs to go. Traditional and Chile Relleno. There are 4 servings per bag, 3 pierogies per serving. The pierogies are large so three are plenty. I steamed, then pan fried them with onions and they cooked so nicely!! My belly is so happy right now. :) I also got there polish almond cookies which were fabulous as well!! Worth the visit!!!!!

SO GOOD! Would definitely eat here again! We had the Polish (pictured) and Colorado pierogis and both were amazing. So full of flavor, the perfect texture, and generous portions for a reasonable price. Restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, food is delicious and well-priced. Everything you can want!

Absolutely amazing!! This place is the best. Traditional and Polish were fantastic. Colorado ones were great (just wish they had a vegetarian chili to top it with)! Will be back

Great food and service at Baba & Pops!! Sauerkraut soup with Kale salad made a perfect lunch. We had the delicious Colorado Pierogi and brought home some frozen ones.

Absolutely delicious food, and the gentleman that waited on us was very nice. We had the traditional pierogi and the kielbasa platter, both were incredible. I come from a Polish family, and this is absolutely true traditional Polish food. We’ll definitely be back!

LOVE this place. I've had all of their pierogi dishes now, each enjoyable in their own right. The chicken kabobs are also delish. Try the almond cookies, too. Highly recommend.

Ok so 5 stars, you're thinking this guy has given a place this before and yes I have but this one is way worth it. Perogi was excellent, I mean toasted buttery excellence! Great choice of fillings. Small bar but great mixology, great tasting and stout. Service was on point, friendly, informative, welcoming. A must visit in Denver.

Baba and Pop’s was so yummy. The flavors exceeded our expectations. The service was top notch too. The menu had lots of options and we had the Fried Chicken Kabob, Colorado, and Uncle Paul's Pierogi Poutine. We’d love to come back to have the Apple Pie-rogi but we were too full of deliciousness on this visit.

A hidden gem of a restaurant on Colfax. Here you will find the pierogi as the main event and no matter which entree you select the flavors will blow you away. Bravo Baba & Pop's.

Love this place!!! The food was so good & the staff was super friendly. My only personal deal was the cabbage rolls were a tiny bit too peppery for my taste, but my husband loved it. Great job guys!!!

The server was so kind and welcoming. It is my first time and he gave me great opinions and the Polish pierogi is delicious! I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. I bought a bag of frozen ones to go and a cookie. I can't wait to dig into the cookie.
