Beautiful day. Ice is still on Reservoir but not on trails. There are lots of hiking options. Gr8 mountain views with a kite skier on the ice.

Beautiful state park, so relaxing to spend the day. Perfect place to hike swim when it's warm enough, spend time relaxing and enjoying the nature, decently clean, good amount of picnic tables and grills, fun bird watching. Cheap 10 $ fee for the day spent at the lake and grilling with the family. Gorgeous sunsets, and so beautiful in the fall

Wow, what an amazing jewel in Aurora. We really enjoyed it, very clean, operational and peaceful.
Lots of trees, bike, walking paths. We spent 4 days there camping just to use our camper one more time before it gets cold. Here are a few pics.

Great place to walk your dog or even walk without a pet. The park is clean, and the lake is great to take your boat out on. There are restrooms, but not during the winter.

Great place for the pups to run and enjoy themselves. There is a creek that provides water amenities for your dog. Lots of trails to explore...a doggies dream. Parking can be tricky during peak times. Going after work M-F 5pm ish is calm. Early weekends 7, 8 and 9am are nice and cool with not a lot of people. Alwyas a good time seeing all the happy dogs.

Love the trails! Beach area can get crowded but the people have always been great company. My boys love fishing, they haven't caught anything, but we watched others catch some.

The beach by the lake is great! Nice and helpful staff. It was a good time watching my young son play in the sand and watch the boats come in and go out. The wildlife is very diverse even for being in the city. When you are in the park you don't feel like it is in the city.

Beautiful view of the lake with beautiful tall trees covering the campsites. Restrooms are fancy. The park seems a bit upscale from most state parks I've been to. The showers have credit card readers.

I thought it was a beautiful place to visit and camp. I recommend it.

The Family Shooting Center at Cherry Creek is always a great experience. Shoot skeet at the many handtraps while enjoying an unparalleled view of the Rockies. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, more than willing to help with any questions and concerns. Safety is item one, two and always. Pistol and rifle ranges are covered, so they can be enjoyed year-round!

All around love this place for playing on the jet skis . Most the staff is friendly and helpful . Rangers do what rangers do. Some rangers are more helpful then others . When not packed beaches and reservoir it's very relaxing. When packed it can get a bit hectic . Park stays quit clean for the amount of people that attend on weekends and holidays.

Excellent place! Extremely pleasant camping area. The representatives are useful and pleasant. The camp hosts were excellent. Our site was truly perfect and faultless. There are a lot of bicycle and climbing trails. There is an exceptionally huge ocean side region with a lot of regions to excursion. Mainly, there is by all accounts some wrongdoing in the recreation area. There are various signs posted about keeping things secured, particularly bicycles. Be back soon.

Went camping Friday night through Sunday. Campsite was clean and had lots of space. Facilities were spotless. Showers cost money to use, credit card only. Visitor center serious firewood and is a 1-3 minute walk away. There are no obvious paths to the trails, you just need to follow the roads or drive there. Would love to revisit when it's a little greener!

If you’re in the Aurora CO and looking for a camp site, I highly recommend Cherry Creek State Park camp ground. It is very close to town but when you’re there, you don’t know it. It’s a pretty park and in our area, the campers were not close to each other at all (always a bonus).

A beautiful state park in Denver. Especially beautiful in the fall when the trees are changing. The walking/cycling trails are really relaxing to take, and the beach is nice. The lake is cool as well, and is a good place for paddle-boarding and sailing. I’ve never camped here but the campgrounds look nice, especially for cookout style camping. Forsure a great little spot to try out if you live in Denver or are just visiting

We went on a Wednesday afternoon after 430pm, so it was way less crowded. Nice trail paths to walk on & a lot of bikes present, be aware. Shaded tables to sit at with charcoal grills. Bathrooms on one end, so you'll have to walk to it. Nice little beach/sand area on that side, too.

A great park with a good campground. Plenty of trials go though the park. They also have a group of deer that have a few albino members, which is rare. About 1 in 20,000-30,000 depending on which study you ask. The pictures suck because I had the wrong camera selected on my phone when I took them. 🙃

This is close to our home. We enjoy going over in the evening to watch the sunset. There are nice picnic sites and great little trails to walk.
