Great food, great service. Deb was our server, she took great care of us. She kept checking on us. Very pleasant person . I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and my wife had the Turkey dinner. The place wasn't busy at all, but that's only because it was a Monday, usually when we pass by there is a line out the door. I think we are going to add Governor Francis Inn to our regular dinner places we visit. I would like to maybe sit at the bar some night and grab a drink and some food. I would highly recommend Governor Francis Inn to everyone.

Been here many times and every time they don't disappoint had the fried calamari which was on point for dinner we had the fried clams served with baked potato and this amazing apple butternut squash. The other meal was baked stuffed scrod with shrimp and scallops topped with lobster bisque. Will never be disappointed with the portions always take some home. Staff is great friendly and on top of your needs during your visit also prices are very reasonable for the quality of product you receive.

I go here often for lunch. Staff is friendly and quick. They don't hover over you. Food is great and prices are average for a sit down restaurant

Loved this little mom and pop spot ! Great service, and good food. A great selection for a menu specially if u don't know what you want. Will definitely go again 😃

The portion sizes are HUGE and a great deal for the price. The interior is a little dated but it's still very cozy and welcoming. My boyfriend and I go here regularly, sometimes more than once a day!

This has been a "go to" place for us to get dinner for years. Never, ever disappointed with our meals. First time for breakfast, and we are very happy with it! Huge portions with everything cooked perfectly. We will return!

There are so many dishes to choose from! Some items are "old school" favorites! The lobster roll was stuffed with big chunks of meat, along with a hefty side of fries. The meal came with starter options and I went with the white chowder, which was excellent! My friend had a bowl of lobster bisque and a crabcake. She couldn't stop raving about them!!!!! We can't wait to go back!!!

Unbelievable gem! Eat here!! RIBEYE Steak was one of the best and most tender I have had in 53 years.

Great food and cozy atmosphere!! Many good choices in the menu from sandwiches, comfort food meals and seafood. Daily specials are always good. Service is friendly and efficient. Great go to place when you’re hungry for a home cooked meal!! No wonder they’ve been in business so long!!

I haven't been to this great restaurant in years. The food and service haven't changed. We purchased the seafood platter, and everything was fresh, hot, and perfect.

Have been coming here for the past 10 years. Great food. They have a little bit of everything so no matter what your in the mood for, they will have it! I love their sandwiches and clubs. Seafood is always great and their white clam chowder is one of the best around. Definitely recommend visit!

This was my second visit here and the second time was as good as the first! Jeanette is absolutely amazing! Our party had questions and she answered them like a pro. The food was fresh , hot and delicious. The portion size was enough for 3 meals.

Stopped in today with my mom. She’s in her 80’s. Was happy to see they are following guidelines and felt safe. Our server was excellent and we split the Inn’s fish special with the salmon . Loved the entire dish and mom did too ! My first time there but not the last 😊

This was our first time visiting. We've heard a lot of good things from friends about the food and service here. Lisa, our server, was great. She was very attentive and very personable. The food was great! We shared the king cut prime rib and let me just say.....so delicious! Our kids had the pasta and meatballs and chicken fingers with fries. We will most definitely be back.....and asking for Lisa to be our server! Thanks for a great family date night!!!!?
