This hotel is what we all imagine a ski lodge to look and feel like. Room was perfect for me and my kid. Bed was very comfortable with 4 pillows, kid stayed in the loft/mezzanine accessible by ladder - her "crib". Nice bathroom with no wait for hot water. Heater worked fine. Full mini-kitchen so we made b-fast every morning. Very clean, comfortable. Fantastic location right next to Lift 1 (main base) - we skied 4-5 hours a day. Walking distance to all restaurants. Friendly staff. And, before I forget, a wonderful jacuzzi (fits 7) and sauna that I used every night to sooth my knees.

We loved our stay at the Alpine Suites. The location cannot be better as you are next to the rental ski shop and 2 min walking to the gondola. All the staff is very nice.
The mattress was uncomfortable the first night and when we told them in the morning they went out of their way to changed it and gave us a brand new one. We were really impressed.
The place was dated but it was comfortable and clean. I just wish it didn’t have so much furniture and accessories, it felt a little crowded with bulky chairs and tables. Other than that we were happy with our stay.

You can't be the value for the Alpine Village Suites. The rooms are spacious and right on the mountain. The lobby is cozy and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We've also enjoyed the hot tub there. Highly recommend, especially for families.

Room and hotel was awesome. The first day, room service was great, after that, not good. They took our dirty towels one day, but left no clean ones. No coffee most days. Made the bed sometimes, left a used toothbrush on the floor one day. That is something that can and should easily be fixed. Even with all that, we will stay there every time we ski there!

What a lovely staff and perfectly located inn. They went out of their way to assist us with all our needs. Would highly recommend and stay again! Parents and 2 teens had a blast at first time in Taos Ski Valley thanks to all the super nice individuals!

I was 100% satisfied and impressed with my studio suite at Alpine Village Suites, and I'm extremely eager to return. The location is perfect, maybe 100 yards from overnight parking, which is included with your stay, and maybe 200 or 300 yards from the ticket office and Lift 1. Every member of the staff was helpful and friendly, especially Mattias, and the daily service was a nice change from larger hotels, where that still doesn't always seem to be the norm post-COVID. My queen bed studio suite was small and cozy and very nicely decorated. It had a small stove and fridge and even a small freezer, much to my delight, so I was able to refreeze my Yeti cooler blocks to keep my months+ supply of green chili stew on ice while also enjoying some for lunch one day. I also saw daily maintenance to the hot tub, and the dry sauna was PIPING hot. I cannot wait to return.

Hi, the overall experience was incredible, the skiing was great and the vibe of Taos Ski Valley is super cool. The only reason I didn’t give the room the top rating is that it advertises a “kitchenette”, which is a stretch since there is no stove or oven, just a hot plate. No big deal, we made due and so can you. Also, hot tub not operating optimally. The One individual in particular was stellar, Garrett. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful, very hands on, willing to do whatever it took. And a very personable young man!! Kudos to Garrett!

This location is wonderful for a ski trip in Taos and within walking distance to lift 1. It’s close enough to even come back to the room for lunch and the rooms have a kitchenette. The room had luxurious towels and the woman working the front desk was so helpful. We also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub to soak after skiing all day. It was fun to be in it when it was snowing.

Alpine was a perfect stay for our family of 4 and dog. The nightly value was right on for the location and amenities like hot tub, sauna, and ski storage.

The 1 bedroom came with a pull out couch that worked perfectly for the kiddos. Fireplace came in handle at night and room was perfect size. We cooked dinner 2 nights in the room as we haf all we needed.

We will stay here again as the staff was very helpful!

One of the best places to stay if you're going to go to Taos Ski Valley! It's walking distance to everywhere!

The room was a loft with a queen bed on the main floor and 2 single beds on the top. It was not overly huge, but sufficed us for 2 adults and 2 kids.

The kitchenette is useful and there was a fridge which was convenient.

In all, a great place if your objective is skiing!

The Mountain Chalet was perfect for our family vacation. It is so close to the lift, bars, and restaurants. We used the hot tub everyday. The staff was amazing and very attentive. We will be back to the Mountain chalet at beautiful Taos Ski Valley. The home is spacious! It was perfect for our 4 kids and 3 grandkids. The ski school was perfect for our little ones.

This was a fantastic home and the location was perfect. The only issue is that it is an older home and you have to deal with "things" that are definitely better in newer construction. Overall, we loved the home and sitting in the jacuzzi staring at the beautiful surroundings was worth the price of admission!

We really enjoyed staying here. Great location and had what we needed to make it comfortable. The hot tub after each day on the mountain was a wonderful perk! Staff was really nice and easy to unload and load

We had a wonderful stay at the Alpine Suites Chalet. The trip started out terrifically well as we were driving into Taos for a quick weekend getaway with the family. It was dumping snow (yay in terms of powder) for the final leg of our journey, for which we received a phone call from the Alpine Suites inquiring if we were ok, and on our way. Of course the primary driver was to coordinate check-in given it was very late in the evening and the staff were looking to wind down for the night (and their own safety I assume). I personally found this to be a very nice touch, immediately took away the commercial feel of a hotel and it became quite personal in terms of checking in on us. When we finally arrived, we were very easily given our keys for check-in and guided to the chalet so we could settle in. This was the first possible very pleasant surprise - the Chalet so far as I can tell is the closest free standing [available to public] home to the Main Chair lift - not exactly ski in/ski out - but definitely the shortest distance to a ski lift I've ever seen; which would definitely qualify as ski in/ski out if you are willing to slide down the road for 30 feet to the lift. The Chalet itself is so charming, and you can't beat the outdoor hot tub with the mountain vistas in front of it - truly majestic. The chalet has obviously been there for a while which means it's not new, but it is perfectly apportioned. For our entire stay, we had no reason to call or interact with the staff - which in my opinion is a testament to how well curated the Chalet is (we did ask for fire starters for the fireplace). It was also nice to see the steps and deck shoveled after the snowfall. If you are looking for a cozy, warm, homely chalet that provides endless opportunity for family bonding, games, and fun meals - the Chalet is for you. If you'd prefer more high-end hotel type services (e.g. room service, room cleaning, turn-down, concierge, etc.) maybe this isn't the place for you. For our family, it was one of the most memorable ski trips we've ever had.

Taos Ski Vally is a small resort at the end of the road, perfect for those that want to be on the mountain all day. The Alpine Village Suites were easy to get to and then go strait to the mountain. The hot tub was hot and always lots of towels, great for star gazing and soaking after a day on the mountain. If I would go to Taos again, I would stay at the Alpine Village Suites!!

Third time we have been here. We had stayed in the hotel twice and rented a cabin in the summer when family came from 3 different states. We have had wonderful experience and had no challenges with customer service. Garrett is second to none! We will be returning before we know it. Enjoyed summer and winter seasons. Each has something different to offer.

Love love loved this resort. The front desk was super friendly and the location was perfect for skiing and local activities. Room was a little dirty when it came to the drawers and the dishes but other than that it was great.

Prime location and wonderful staff. You’ll think you walked into a Hallmark Christmas movie. We stayed in unit 26, group of 6, and had the best time over Thanksgiving week (fully stocked kitchen where we made the Thanksgiving meal). The hotel is steps from Cottam’s ski rental and lift 1 and beginner hills. You’re a quick walk to all the restaurants in the Ski Village area. Really awesome experience! The pictures do not do justice to how great this place is!

Staff were very nice. Location was so awesome! The room was good and had everything we needed. The room temperature was either too hot or too cold. Everything was great!

Cozy suite with fantastic on the small balcony or walking around the Village of Taos Ski Valley.

Many trail heads within an easy walk with access to as difficult or easy that you want. Scenic alpine pines and aspens with quaking yellow leaves in the fall. You can see the old mining holes on the cliffs around your suite.

The suite has a portable electrical burner that at 10,000 feet elevation takes a long time to boil water. There is a gas fireplace, a small eating area, and a separate bedroom. It's small but nice and clean.
