Le Ski Mastery

This is easily the best ski shop in Taos, but it may also be the best ski shop in the world. I traveled to Taos for the week and go a huge core shot on my line sakanas. It was right on the edge knocking the edge completely loose. These guys were able to pull some dark magic and fix it up, saving me hundreds of dollars. I was sure I was going to have to buy a new pair. Then day two since my sakanas were in the shop I skied my faction agents. Got a core shot and took it in to Le Ski Mastery. Luckily this ski was fixed up in time for the next day. The staff were responsive and clearly masters of ski tuning. Yes it is a bit expensive but this is a great example of you get what you pay for. 1000% worthit.

Alain and Peggy saved me after all my gear got stolen on this ski trip. They have the best selection of performance skis to demo out of all the shops at Taos. They carry the brands Stockli and Fischer for sale too. Alain was a racer and will give you real pro advice unlike typical ski salesperson. The shop is in the corner of the newly opened building this 2021/22 season, easy to miss. Be sure to check them out if you want the best.

Elite ski shop in a small but ideal location in Taos Ski Valley. Not many typical shops take the time to interview you in depth about what you normally ski and how that might apply to their local mountain and current conditions. They rented me a beautifully tuned up pair of Stockli SR102. WHAT A SKI. I’ll be back.

bonjour mes amis, je m'appelle Edwin. :) you guys really did me a solid fixing the base crack on my Volkl’s near the edge. They opened the crack, filled with epoxy, and clamped up overnight. I would highly recommend this shop, the owners are from France and very thorough.

I shopped here while visiting the ski valley. I found a perfect sweatshirt and got a deal too good to be true. The owner said it was her mistake, but I paid the difference. The deal was still great. We talked to her for a bit about the area. Everyone is so friendly. Definitely coming back to shop every time we come back to the valley

As a life long snow sports enthusiast I can confidently say Le Ski Mastery clearly stands out from the crowd. The shop has some of the best demo ski selection at any shop I have seen in North America; and the gear is extremely well maintained. The team is very knowledgeable, able to offer practical advice and genuinely a friendly and fun crew. Hands down the best!

Wow! If you're going to Ski Taos, YOU MUST rent from Le Ski Mastery. They take time to really craft your experience, everything is tuned to your specifications and you will not be disappointed! The gear they rent is also top notch so you would be foolish to go anywhere else.

From custom fitting my boots, to providing best skis for local snow condition to resurfacing skis to make them brand new. I can't say enough about the service we received from Alain, Peggy and their team. It is a family shop that really cares about their customers and the service they provide. Thumbs up.

Staff is friendly and accommodating. The shop is small but adequate. New location is great. The dedication of the staff to quality - from rentals to tuning - is admirable. They strive to match gear to conditions. If you are accustomed to the typical ski shop at a Vail resort, you will be disappointed. No twin tip skis, snowboard baggy pants or flashy Oakley goggles here. This an old school, down hill ski shop. They are GREAT at what they do and dedicated to it. If you plan a trip to Taos, this is the shop to trust to make your trip a success, but don’t ask or expect them to betray their roots. I trust Le Ski Mastery but if trendy gear is your desire, you’ll be disappointed.

Got a great deal from Alain on new skis and boots last year at the Santa Fe ski swap. I hadn't owned my own equipment in decades and he made me feel comfortable about the purchase. He offered to remount the bindings at no charge and give me a good deal on poles if I came to his shop in Taos.
The shop is conveniently located steps from where the parking lot shuttle drops you off. He took care of my bindings in minutes and provided poles as promised. Now on season 2 with this equipment and I'm very happy.

This is an excellent, family owned ski shop. Take your skis in to get a tune, edge or wax and they are ready at 8 am the next morning! Peggy and her daughter were knowledgeable, kind and you will almost always find a small group of locals. Thanks for the demos and taking care of our skis ❤

The best family owned ski shop in TSV! Find it on the street to the slopes after you get off of the shuttle, it will be on your right. Le Ski Mastery! They have amazing service and skis, and who doesn’t want to support local business!!! They know the mountain and the industry better than anyone!!
