Brown's Drug Store

Brown's drug store has been around as long as I can remember, my grandmother used to get her prescriptions filled here back in the 1970s. Their one of the last remaining privately owned drug stores around. They not only fill prescriptions but also have a good selection of greeting cards, some office and school supplies, small personalized gift items, candles, some toys for the youngsters, all sorts of neat little things to browse around and see and buy. Their prices are good, cheaper then you would expect, I suppose they keep the prices low to compete with all of the big chain drug stores in town, after all theres a reason that they are still in business after all of the many decades they have been filling our prescriptions.

The most friendly faces to see for an awful must have errand. Very helpful with questions and an amazing variety of decorating pieces to choose from. They also have great clearance prices along with great pricing for your medication which is filled with a fast and courteous smile. I just want to say thank you all for your kindness and hard work!!! Truly lovely people. They are not 24 hrs, And they are closed on Sundays, which can be a bit inconvenient, but, I will gladly tolerate that, given the awesomely, personalized service!
Plus, they have some of the most u iqie gifts in town!
If you are a Steelers fan, it is a really great place to get Steelers gear...plus, if you are going to a game, you must take a clear purse...they have them there!

Best pharmacy in the area. They also have the cheapest prices if you don't have insurance or are waiting on a prior authorization to be approved. I use the drive thru and receive my prescription in less than 5 minutes. I might have to pull around 1x if a car pulls up behind me. Upset that I just found out Wednesday that they no longer take United Healthcare. If you use the drive thru they give your children candy and even have treats for your dogs if they are riding with you. Walgreens, rite aid, and CVS need to take tips on how they process your prescriptions so fast. They need to expand and put one in Campbell. I hate the drive to Southern Blvd but if I went to a pharmacy on McCartney I would be waiting for a long time. They are so fast I could drive all the way to Browns and be back home before the other places even gave me my prescription.

Love this family owned business. Very efficient service. Not to mention they have what other pharmacy's run out of. Pricing is very reasonable as well.
