French Creek Reservation

This place is BEAUTIFULLLL. Good paths, theres some mini ones to trail off that have nice parts of the park, Clean trails, And a nice playground near the front :)

This is such a great place to get away from the city where you can just sit on a bench in the woods to listen to nature or to go for a walk or exercise. The staff in the main building are always polite and ask if you need help. There is a nice little playground at the end of one of the trails for the kids to play on and when when you need a bench to rest on. I have spent many hours here sitting by the river listening to the babbling brook and the birds. It is also a great place for nature photographers.

Fun and beautiful place to hike. Rolling terrain and miles of trails. Some of the trails run along a high ridge looking down on the creek. Good place for a Saturday morning hike...

Wonderful trails. Great for walking dogs. Ample parking and play area. Some delightful mushroom species. Lots of learning about plants can take place here. Wonderful to listen to Barred Owl hooting

Great walking trails and off trail hiking.
We enjoy walking our dog and meeting other walkers and dog owners. Playground, shelters and picnic areas. Walking trails are a few miles long and the park is well taken care of.

I live the trails. I call it a “4 Seasons” park. The trails are raised and dry. I work with groups of kids and they are not always prepared for less than favorable trail conditions. French Creek has a lot of hiking options when other park trails are saturated. They also have 2 beautiful creeks with great rock formations.

This park is truly amazing, with an abundance of trees, beautiful trails, and an exceptional nature center that offers a variety of interesting activities.

Great place to have a family gathering!

One of my to-go places for a quick hike. It offers both improved and unimproved trails, parts of which go along the French creek and are quite scenic. Elevation change is minimal. The park is usually not crowded. Many dog owners walk their dogs and you can catch a conversation with them easily.

Great weekend morning hiking spot. Nice smooth gravel trails suitable for jogging or strollers as well.

I walk here in the morning every chance I get. The wildlife is amazing. So many deer!! Clear paths for walking friendly people to say good morning to 🌞

Love the trails

We had a church picnic at this pavilion and it was very nice. Close to decently clean facilities and the playground. The trash cans were full when we arrived. It would have been nice to have them emptied. But it did not detract from the beauty of the park. It's a great place in Lorain County.

They have playground, restrooms picnic tables grills lots of trails for the dogs and a crook that my dog loves to go in of course you're supposed to use of leash but I take mine off Trail and let it off the waist to play

We have a blast at this park many holidays. It's great outdoor fun for all the kids and even your pets if they're on a leash. There's a playground for the kids. They have trails that you can walk through and a creek running through that you can get muddy in. Restroom facilities. Everything you need for some good family out door fun.

Amazing place so take your pet do have your parties I really enjoy everything about this very surprised after so many years living here my son turned me on to French Creek and I am forever thankful to him I love it. The Rangers are there there is not on time that I haven't gone that I have not seen them doing their cruising which makes me happy cuz I'm not a young chicken and we are concerned about protection but there is such an assurance to go knowing that this people are walking through and the place is clean you
