Meijer Pharmacy

I am beyond happy with Meijer Pharmacy. It is definitely across town from where I live, but I make the trip because it's absolutely worth it. The process of transferring prescriptions there was seamless and my insurance doesn't cover the prescriptions there, but paying out of pocket at their pharmacy prices is cheaper than my covered pharmacy co-pay. My scripts are done the same day, usually within 15 minutes of when I call. They are friendly, respect privacy, and always on time. I would highly recommend.

Very good service. They have around the best prices I can get with GoodRx that beats my co-pay with my prescription Part D plan. If they can get it cheaper with Singlecare they'll run it through them.

So far, I'm really enjoying the convenience of this pharmacy. Less than a mile from home, friendly and good communication.

I have used this pharmacy 4 times and each time it has been fabulous and friendly and much cheaper than GE. They have gone above and beyond with the service.

Beautiful store.,...the lady in the pharmacy was very helpful...and saved me some extra money with the good rx app.... wonderful experience.... recommend

Nice clean store

Unlike some other reviews I see here, I have no complaint with staff rudeness. They've been friendly every time. They're just very, very, very slow. I switched to Meijer from Walgreens because their prices were better on my prescriptions. When my Walgreens iPhone app showed "Rx in Process," it was always done within 15-30 minutes of that. Meijer has ALWAYS been 2-6 hours after it shows "in Process" on their app. I've even shown up to their drive-thru an hour after it showed "in Process" to be told they'd "get right on it—pull up to the window again in 20 minutes"... and I pulled up THREE MORE TIMES at +20 more minutes each before it was ready. I've been using them about a year now, so this isn't just a one-time thing. I'm going to give them a couple more months and if they're still like this, I'm going back to the dependability of Walgreens, or Giant Eagle or CVS... literally every pharmacy I've ever used prior to this has been faster.

Do not go to this pharmacy.The poindexter Pharmacist thinks he knows better than your doctor. I had a prescription called into the pharmacy he refused to fill the prescription until he spoke with the doctor to ask him why he didn’t try to prescribe a different medication. I spent an hour while he berated my doctor, nurses and staff on the phone. He had no clue of my previous medical history but insisted he knew better. Just put the pills in the bottle, you’re not a doctor….

I called to make sure my prescription was ready for pick up. I was told it was so I drove across town in the freezing rain to the store. When I got there I was told I could not pick it up until tomorrow. When I ask why I wasn’t told over the phone the girl just shrugged her shoulders. The staff there is less than professional and has horrible communication.

Every time I go to this particular pharmacy, the staff they hired are very rude! Some worse than others, especially the other day when I thought I would try the drive thru. I had laryngitis and could hardly get a word out, and she rudely said “I can’t hear you”!! and she wasn’t even at the window. So when she came to the window I motioned to her that I could not talk, and showed her my license to get my nam. She wouldn’t even open the canister to to look at it! How rude !!! Never said a darn word, like I don’t need it. She threw my stuff in a bag and opened the canister, and away she went!! This is every time I go there just to pharmacy. If those people don’t want to work, GO HOME ! Your making the store look bad !!!!

My warning to you is not to switch your prescriptions to Meijers! They advertised rewards for switching to their pharmacy, yet I received zero rewards. In addition, their system is horrible. It shows I can refill a prescription then I am told it's too early when I go to pick it up. There is no status at all on their system to show this. Walgreens is 100% better and more efficient!!! BEWARE!!!

The pharmacy tech is extremely rude. If you ask her to check GoodRx or have any other issue, she huffs and storms away. She waited on me twice now and has done it both times. She has also violated my privacy by stating, for all around to hear, the names of the medication I'm picking up.

Unhelpful and extremely rude. Went to get their promotion about the covid-19 vaccine, and nobody would answer the window. Several looked my straight in the eye and just walked away. Worst pharmacy service I've ever had.
