We had sooo muchhh fun during our stay here! We first got the mountain view room- we loved it so much that we booked forest view room one week after. Both were amazing, and I simply can’t believe this place is only 1.5-2 hrs away from downtown area.

They encourage people to put their phones away (even had a lockbox) and connect with nature and with your companion 💕 the room was tiny but well equipped with everything needed. If help is needed, there’s a phone inside the cabin, and you can also text the crew member. Felt really safe 👍

We’ve been to getaway big bear twice now and both time our pup enjoyed the cabins so thoroughly. lots of trails for hikers and a panoramic drive nearby for anyone not interested in strenuous activities. Cabins look small but the rooms are plenty sufficient for two adults + a 60lbs 🐶 can’t wait to check it out in the winter!

5 Stars!! We stayed here during a quick 3 day ski trip up to Snow Valley. Our stay was perfect. The resort was under 15 minutes away which made the daily commute a breeze.

The cabins are very tidy, clean, and charming with giant windows for maximum sunlight and views. Our cabin featured a full kitchen with all the amenities you would need for a few days as well as a campfire with firewood, a lighter, and even fire starter. Super cool spot for an off grid, nature experience with all of the amenities of a home. They thought of everything and did a great job sticking to the theme or getting into nature to relax. We especially liked the cards and card games book. Thank you guys!!

I had been eyeing this place for a while and am so glad that me and my boyfriend pulled the trigger. It was the perfect escape after a day of fishing at big bear lake. The view was breathtaking (Mountain View) . I couldn’t believe how quiet it was. I love that there’s a no outdoor music rule. You could hear the birds chirp and the wildlife around you all day. The most peaceful thing to listen to nature unobstructed. Fire pit was super easy to work. They left a personalized note which was so sweet. Best part? We went on the nature trail they have on premises and saw 2 deers pretty close up for a while! We just stopped and watched them in awe. My boyfriend is kind of hard to impress and he was just in awe the whole trip with me. We did a weekday and would do a weekday if/when we return because a weekend is just too out of our price range. Awesome stay . Highly recommend.

This is the perfect little getaway for anyone looking to get out in nature and escape to the mountains. We stayed here for our ski trip to Snow Valley and it was so cozy and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the view from Roberta was great! I would highly recommend staying here!

This is the 3rd time we stay in the cabin. We absolutely enjoy it.
Total 6 days and nights. 3 different cabins. 1 and 2 beds, mountain and forest view. We had sunny summer day, heavy snow, 75mph windy + rainy day, snowy day, foggy day. We experienced it all. The weather on the mountain change quickly.
We are aware the view and cabin location will be different, depends on availability. Make sense. We do stars gazing at summer night. Play with snow at winter night. Or just looking at the fire pit makes us feel relax. Cabin provide enough for us to enjoy during our stay. There’re a convenience store near by. We stop by during summer to get watermelon.
Keep in mind that this is an experience with mother nature. If you need a luxury trip and 5 stars hotel services, or if you are those who need to have the exact view that you saw on the website. This may not be the one for you. Even you get a Mountain View doesn’t guarantee you can see it, it may be foggy. Be ready to embrace the uncertainty.
Staffs are very friendly and caring. They start snow plowing soon after it snow and very often throughout the day.

This was just the little getaway that I needed! My pup enjoyed the snow, I enjoyed the quiet. The cabin is small but efficient. I'm not a small person, so the shower behind the bathroom door was not easily accessible......AT ALL! It seemed like I would likely be parked next to the cabin, so I packed my stuff in such a way that I would not need to bring everything inside at once since the space was so small, but I was not.

Overall it was a good experience and I'm glad I went.

Having a blast here at the Morton cabin. It’s currently drizzling outside and we’re nice and comfortable inside. We grilled some steaks, looked for squirrels, and drank lots of hot chocolate and tea. It’s tiny inside so make sure to use all the available storage space underneath the bed and bathroom!

It was a wonderful place to get away! The staff answered text quickly when we have questions and were super helpful. The place is dog friendly, and our dog love it here.. We stayed 3 nights here, and it was snowy the whole time. It was really beautiful, and we didn't have problem driving (we did borrow shovels from the staff to clear the drive way). The cabin has everything essential, and we can have short hot showers. The only complain I have is that the hot water tank is really small because the hot shower only last 3min at most.

Absolutely amazing to stay here. It is secluded enough to feel like a nice vacation in nature, while also being close to town so you can pick up fresh groceries or grab a coffee in town if you'd like.
Visiting in April we got a snow storm on 1 night and it stayed cold out so we had a snow day and the following day it melted so we got what felt like a day of spring also . It was pretty windy out all 3 nights so camp fires weren't totally pleasant. Not sure how the weather is during different months.

Pros:
- Dog friendly! Bowls, treats, and a leash line provided free to use
- Communicative and attentive staff
- Complimentary stuff which was very appreciated
- Breathtaking Mountain View
- Far away enough from most cabins to feel the illusion of isolation
- Functional tiny home with a decent kitchen and small but complete bathroom
- Pay-to-play provisions such as firewood
- Very quiet and relaxing! Everyone observed the “no loud noises” rule very well

Cons:
- Cabin was a bit tricky to locate
- Number key pad did not initially work, and I had to call customer service for them to reset it
- The place was a little cramped for 2 adults and a dog, but I suppose that is to be expected
- Our specific cabin was literally right next to the only nature path, so the illusion of isolation was constantly disrupted by people and dogs getting pretty close to us (which made my dog very anxious and unhappy)

Overall, this was an amazing trip, and I was very happy to disconnect and stay in nature especially to cool down during this unexpected heat wave. I will definitely come again. Also, T-mobile data was consistently up throughout and good for in case of emergency situations.

Great place for getaway! My wife booked here for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday, the cabin is really nice and clean, bed is spacious for 2 adults. Pet friendly, they even got s’mores treat for our dog so he won’t miss out. The front desk was really helpful through text message, responded to my text immediately and resolved my problems. We really wanted to stay another night if we could. I’ll definitely come back in the future!

A great way to escape from the city and recharge. The cabins are comfortable and the views are breathtaking. It's silent and peaceful, but you still feel like you have neighbors in the other cabins, so I felt really safe spending a few days here alone with my dog. It's close to a few great trails like Keller Peak, and 25 mins drive from both Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, I would consider bringing your own pans and cooking equipment as theirs is very basic and the pan is absolutely non stick. Also, the olive oil they say they provide is approximately 3 tea spoons in plastic sachets!

It is our third time visiting here. We always had a great experience and it was a perfect way to getaway from work, computer, our busy life.

At first the Cabins look super small, but they make absolutely excellent use of the space. They provide silverware, plates, mugs, bowls, cups, knives, scissors, wood, soap, shampoo, conditioner, showers, and mattresses and beds. I love the view from the window and they have multiple hiking trail. 10/10 would definitely go again. (They do provide little snacks, but I recommend you bring your own food if you want a full meal. There is a Stater Bros. In the area though.)

I had a really great time with getaway house, check in was easy, very responsive with any questions I had. Little place has everything you need for a quick getaway to disconnect from the world . It was just what I needed.
Pups enjoyed the getaway with me too!

What an incredible hidden gem just an hour and a half outside of LA!
Everything about our stay was perfect - from the contact less check in experience to the well-stocked cabin that has everything that you could possibly need for a couple of days off the grid. We stayed in the cabin "Ginger" which had great views of a small meadow out back. We will definitely be back soon!

This is a great experience. They provide everything you need, hot and cold water, a shower, toilet, full kitchen with a stove, provisions (even tin foil), heat and AC. All this is provided in a clean new ~ 100 square foot cabin. Our view was amazing. Don't bring a thing except maybe extra food to cook outside of the provided pasta. There were even fire starters and wood available right at the cabin. Pour over coffee and basic provisions are available for the taking at a small fee. But yes you can "just show up"

Amazing getaway. You get a code to get in to your cabin upon check in. They text you and are always available when you have any questions. The process was simple. Amazing place to get out of the city and sit around the fire while deer roam. Very reasonable prices as well. They store is probably 5 minutes away and great places to take out near by as well.

Came here a couple of times and enjoyed all my visits. It is a tiny space so I’d say the number lf maximum adult should be 2. Very pretty during the winter season.
